Gordon's Great Escape: Vietnam (S02E02) (2011)

47:47
Chef Gordon Ramsay and his food adventure in Vietnam in his reality show Gordon's Great Escape - S02E02 (2011) Gordon's gastronomic tour of South East Asia brings him to Vietnam. In Vietnam the culinary rule seems to be that if it moves, eat it. Gordon samples a host of surreal, challenging and delicious foods, including still-beating snake heart, freshly slaughtered barbecue duck, and basket-caught squid. In Ho Chi Minh City Gordon visits the city's finest snake restaurant. In Hanoi he grapples with the ferocious Madam Duck and begs her to reveal her secret duck recipe. He also rises to the challenge of broth maker Zi Hai to sell over 80 broths in a tiny boat at a floating market in the Mekong Delta. Gordon travels hundreds of miles to the tropical hot spot Mai Chau to learn how to prepare rice cakes. Gordon's final challenge is to host a dinner of pork for several of Vietnam's most discerning and critical food connoisseurs. Disclaimer: © by respective owner(s). BBC - Italy Unpacked: The Art of the Feast

59:02
Andrew Graham-Dixon and chef Giorgio Locatelli travel through Italy exploring the country's history, culture, food, art and landscape. Their journey begins in Bologna, the capital of Emilia-Romagna, one of the richest regions in Italy. They find out why the city is know as la Dotta (the Learned), la Grassa (the Fat) and la Rossa (the Red), while visiting its shops, art institutions and the oldest university in the world. Andrew and Giorgio experience the social and friendly atmosphere of the region and meet fishermen casting huge nets at the mouth of the river Po. From there, it is a short journey to Ferrara where they discover the legacy left by the famous dynasty d'Este, and to Modena, home of balsamic vinegar and Ferrari. Finally, Giorgio reveals the source of modern Italian cuisine - at the Palatina Library in Parma he views an original copy of the first cook book of the newly united Italy - while Andrew admires Correggio's magnificent fresco in the dome of Parma Cathedral.

CapeYork Journey Part 2 The OTT Old Telegraph Track

06:02
We take on the infamous Old Telegraph Track. This track is challenging at best and will take your car at worst. It even starts with with an adrenaline pumping crossing, with the first crossing - Palm Creek - being quite technical especially when it is still wet. It has a sep entry and exit point. Once you have taken on Palm and won, it lifts your confidence and gets you ready for the rest. Gunshot is probably the most well known of the crossings and there is also cheats Gunshot' that isn't quite as tough as the original. Along the way you do get rewarded when you pull in to the spectacular Elliot Falls for a swim in their crystal clear fresh water swimming holes. The OTT 4WD route follows the historic Old Telegraph Track and is the most direct route from Bramwell station to the tip of Australia. If you keep an eye out you can still see the old telegraph poles along the track. There is also a bypass road, and each of the crossings will allow you to back track to go via the bypass road. But, we are all here for a reason so don't worry about scratching your car and take on the challenge of the track. Some of the places of interest along the track include Twin Falls, Elliot Falls, Fruit Bat Falls and Gunshot Creek. Watch the story to see what the track is like.

Cape York Journey Part 1 Cairns to Weipa

04:41
We met with our guide Paul Stafford, from Tagalong, to join his group from Cairns to the Tip of Australia. We were planning to take on the OTT, one of Australia's premier 4WD tracks so having an experienced guide lead the way and show us the ins and outs of each of the grueling crossings was a big bonus. During the 1000km journey north we head through the centre and up the western side of the peninsula. We show you some of the great spots to stop at for the night and explore some of these small country towns. We spend a couple of days in Chillagoe where we check out the unique limestone caves and learn about the towns history. When we arrive in Weipa to spend a couple of days checking out the sights and relaxing. It also gave everyone a chance to work on their car to get it ready for the track and with nervous excitement we were off to tackle the OTT and hopefully make it through with all cars still intact. Cape York Journey Part 4 - Heading South

05:12
It had been an amazing journey and after a couple of weeks on the road heading north and spending some time at the top of Australia, it was time that we made our way back south and headed towards home.
We took some time and camped at a few of the national parks on the way back. Many of these camp spots are very simple but are surrounded with incredible beauty. Our first taste of civilization as we headed south was Cooktown ere we stayed at the Seebreeze resort. We were just happy to have a hot shower to wash off some of the red dust. We also did an indigenous tour with Guurbi Tours. This really is a 'must do' tour as Willie Gordon takes you to his ancestral rock art sites in the hills behind Cooktown. The last leg of the trip was heading down the Bloomfield track along the coastline through Cape Tribulation. This is a stunning region and the perfect way to end the trip as we drove through the ancient Daintree Rainforest.

✱ 4.944 Hotels in Hawaii - Lowest Price Guarantee ► https://booki.ng/2tlEKtD Travel video about destination Hawaii. The Hawaiian Islands are located in the middle of the Pacific Ocean and form the 50th state of the USA. In the south east of the island of O’Ahu, Honolulu is a modern town and the starting point for most journeys. It also contains the Iolani Palace - once the residence of King David Kalakana -a magnificent Victorian structure in the centre of Honolulu and the only royal palace in the United States. In Pearl Harbour, a museum commemorates the events of the seventh of December 1941 when most of the American Pacific fleet was destroyed by the Japanese. The valley of Nuuanu Pali is of great importance in Hawaiian history. It was here that a deciding battle took place, when King Kamehameh came from Maui and triumphantly drove the troops of the chief of Oahu into the mountains, the result of which formed the political union of the Hawaiian Islands. In winter, the world’s best surfers collect on Sunset Beach, attracted by spectacular waves, some of which reach as high as the tallest church steeples. On the island of Kaua’i, the Wailua is Hawaii’s only navigable river and it flows through some of the exciting locations which were used for Jurassic Park, Raiders Of The Lost Ark and Blue Hawaii. Two volcanoes dominate the extraordinary island of Maui, which also features sandy beaches, green pastures, dense jungle and a bleak lunar-like landscape. On Waimea Beach in 1778, the English sea captain, James Cook, was the first European to set foot on Hawaiian territory. The Waimea Canyon was referred to by Mark Twain as ‘The Grand Canyon of the Pacific’, a massive gorge which has been carved out of the volcanic landscape by the Waimea River. From a Victorian style station there is the narrow-gauge Sugar Cane Train which travels through the once prolific sugar plantations of Kaanapali. Haleakale is the world’s largest dormant volcano with a crater as large as Manhattan. But nowhere else in the world can volcanoes be studied as safely as on Big Island in the Hawaiian Volcanoes National Park The Hawaiian Islands…priceless pearls in the Pacific Ocean. -------------- Watch more travel videos ► https://goo.gl/MXPgSs Join us. Dal Bhat (दालभात) - Delicious Nepali Food Meal (Motherly Cooked)

02:59
Dal Bhat (दालभात) is one of the most typical Nepali food meals available in Nepal. For more information check out my website: http://migrationology.com/ No matter what area of Nepal you are in, when you're looking for delicious home cooked Nepali food, you'll find dal bhat. The great thing about dal bhat is that it's a delicious meal. Dal means soup, which is usually a lentil soup similar to the Indian version of dal, but a little soupier. Bhat on the other hand is a main staple starch, which normally indicated rice, but if rice is not available, it can mean another form of starch to go with the sides. A meal of Nepali dal bhat (दालभात) all begins on a big metal plate which is piled high with rice. The dal soup is normally place in a small metal bowl and served on the side. While this is the barebones Nepali food combination, usually more sides are added to make the meal more complete. Dal bhat tarkari (दाल भात तरकारी) for instance, is the rice and dal combination along with a side of seasonal vegetables - often some kind of green vegetable fried up or curried cauliflower. Also, if you like to eat meat, there's often the option of ordering chicken, buffalo, or beef curry to accompany your meal. I personally loved chicken and buffalo curry and also a dish they call chicken chilly. For this particular Nepali food meal I was just wandering around Kathmandu, actually getting my Thai visa, when I became extremely hungry. Nepali local restaurants are often hidden from the road by curtains which you have to pull back in order to see what's going on. This was why it was sometimes hard to find food in Nepal, because restaurants are often hidden by drapes. But nevertheless, peek your head into a curtain and there's usually something delicious. This small neighborhood restaurant was owned by a motherly lady who had a selection of delicious dishes all prepared when I arrived. I just ordered the dal bhat (दालभात) and when she asked me if I wanted chicken, I couldn't resist. A plate of rice, peas and potatoes curry, chicken curry, and dal was what came with my meal. After downing my first helping, she then brought more more and more food, a bowl of chickpeas that were slightly cold and still quite firm, and a soft boiled egg, which I was extremely excited about. The egg was soft boiled so the yolk and even some of the white were still soft and perfect to go over my plate of rice. Along with some of the achar chili sauce, a sort of Nepali food salsa, the egg was incredible! Dal bhat makes a wonderful and fulfilling meal when you're in Nepal. It's served fresh, it's for the most part nutritious, and it really satisfies when you're hungry! Honolulu Vacation Travel Guide | Expedia

04:19
https://www.expedia.com/Honolulu.d1488.Destination-Travel-Guides Welcome to Honolulu, the capital of Hawaii. Stationed on the island of Oahu, Honolulu is ready to show you surf and sun like you’ve never seen before. Whether you’re here to live the life of a beach bum or want to explore the city’s lush tropical surroundings, you’ll find everything you’re looking for on your Honolulu tour. Hawaii had a pretty explosive inception—Diamond Head Crater, also called Leahi, started life as an active volcano. Don’t worry; it’s since gone dormant, which means you can climb to the rim and take in a truly brilliant view of the coast. Head back down to the water and go paddleboarding or swimming; “Honolulu” means “sheltered bay,” and the beachfront here lives up to its name: It’s calm and sheltered year-round. Honolulu sightseeing must include a day at Pearl Harbor. While there, you can wander the decks of the USS Missouri, explore the confines of the USS Bowfin, and observe a moment of silence at the USS Arizona Memorial. Head downtown to take in some of Honolulu’s storied history. The statue of King Kamehameha stands guard over the city itself, and you can check out the American Florentine architecture of Iolani Palace. While you’re there, try a Japanese fusion dish or sample from the numerous other eateries lining the city. Stick around as evening falls and you’ll see hula dancers and a breathtaking sunset. 7 Tips for Traveling with Breast Milk | Baby Travel

01:23
Watch more How to Travel with a Baby videos: http://www.howcast.com/videos/511653-7-Tips-for-Traveling-with-Breast-Milk-Baby-Travel Hi. I'm Jennifer Durbin, and I've got some tips for you, if you're traveling with homemade baby food. If you're making your own baby food, good for you, but you may be a little overwhelmed about trying to travel with the baby food. But I'm here to tell you it's really not that hard. You just need to plan ahead. So the next time you're making a batch of baby food, make sure you fix it in the proper container. Put it in some baby cubes or a Little Green Pouch. That way it will travel easier. And make sure you freeze enough. If you freeze your baby food in an ice cube tray, all of those cubes can easily pop into a zip top bag and be transported in your cooler. While you're traveling, keep in mind you'll need to wash out all of your containers, so make sure you take a bottle brush with you. And if you've got a Little Green Pouch, take your funnel as well. The other great thing you can travel with are these great fresh baby feeders. You can put fruit or anything in the tip of it. Baby can chew on it for as long as they want. So really with a little preparation, traveling with homemade baby food is a breeze. You also want to give some thought to what you'll make on the go. There are a number of things like bananas, avocados and things along those lines that are so easy to smash on the go. So make a little list of things that you'll make while you're in your hotel room or staying with friends.

Homer Trips Balls

02:12
The Simpsons - S08E09 "El Viaje Misterioso de Nuestro Jomer (The Mysterious Voyage of Homer)" After a series of distractions from Marge, Homer suddenly smells out the annual chili cook-off. Marge admits that she was trying to keep Homer from attending because of his drunken antics at the previous year's event, when he jumped into a cotton candy machine, claiming he was a "puffy pink cloud", so she allows Homer to go, on the condition that he does not drink any beer. At the cook-off, Homer demonstrates an extraordinary ability to withstand hot foods, until he fails against Chief Wiggum's chili which is spiked with "The Merciless Peppers of Quetzlzacatenango! Grown deep in the jungle primeval by the inmates of a Guatemalan insane asylum". Homer tries one pepper but it burns the tip of his tongue. He runs to a beer vendor and attempts to drink several at once, just as Marge walks up and catches him. He instead drinks several cups of water, sobbing about his humiliation. After nearly drinking melted candle wax, Homer decides to coat his mouth with melted wax, enabling him to eat several of the peppers, leaving Wiggum and the crowd astonished. The peppers bring on a hallucination in which Homer is trapped in a bizarre fantasy world. He encounters a snake, a butterfly and a tortoise, and he accidentally destroys the sun. He finally arrives at a large Mayan pyramid and meets his spirit guide in the form of a coyote. The coyote advises Homer to find his soulmate, and questions Homer's assumption that he has already found her in Marge. Meanwhile, Marge hears of Homer's strange behavior and, believing he has broken his promise, drives home. The next day, Homer regains his senses while lying in a golf course sand trap. He rationalizes his dream, comparing the desert he wandered in to the sand trap, and the talking coyote with a passing talking dog. (The dog says "Hi, Homer. Find your soulmate!", prompting Homer to observe that "there's no such thing as a talking dog", after which the dog barks, to which Homer replies, "Damn straight!") After returning home, he finds Marge angry with him for his embarrassing behavior at the cook-off. This leads to Homer making note of their fundamental personality differences, causing him to question if Marge is truly his soulmate, and he leaves. Filled with doubt, he searches elsewhere for a soulmate, yet fails in each instance. Eventually he becomes convinced that a lighthouse keeper might be his soulmate, since they would both be theoretically lonely individuals; instead he finds the lighthouse is operated by a machine, EARL (Electronic Automatic Robotic Lighthouse). Seeing an approaching ship, Homer destroys the lighthouse's light in hopes that it will cause the boat to come closer and the people inside will befriend him. An apologetic Marge arrives, having known exactly where Homer would go, and the pair realize that they really are soulmates. Marge quickly fixes the lighthouse so that the ship will not run into them, but it runs aground nearby, spilling its precious cargo of hot pants. The citizens of Springfield happily retrieve the pants while Marge and Homer embrace.
