►Read my blog post about La Boqueria: https://goo.gl/jNnk1J ►Subscribe to my videos: http://bit.ly/MarkWiensSubscribe ►Camera I use: http://amzn.to/2dEL3hv On Day 21 of our Round The World Trip for food with Star Alliance, we spent the day in Barcelona. Barcelona is an amazing food city, and one of the best places to start eating is at La Boqueria. After eating and wandering, we headed over to Sagrada Família for a breathtaking tour. It was an amazing day of food and attractions in Barcelona. 00:34 Breakfast at Cotton House Hotel - We started off the morning at our hotel by having a quick breakfast. The jamon and selection of cured meats was the highlight. 2:53 Mercat de Sant Josep de la Boqueria - Often known in short just as La Boqueria, this historical market is a food lover's paradise and a pilgrimage destination. We arrived early in the morning and headed first to Bar Pinotxo to eat our second breakfast. I ordered an omelet with eggplant and a plate of garbanzo beans and blood sausage. The dish was simple, but it was incredibly delicious. Additionally, the coffee was extremely good. Total price - 12.80 EUR ($14.04) 6:59 El Quim De La Boqueria - After finishing with the first place of tapas, I wandered over to another legendary tapas bar within La Boqueria market known as El Quim De La Boqueria. It’s a very expensive place, but I knew I wanted to try the fried eggs with baby squid. The dish was a simple combination of ingredients, but it was cooked perfectly, and it was incredibly delicious. I also couldn’t resist a plate of fried chilies. Total price - 32.05 EUR ($35.16) There are dozens of things to eat and try at La Boqueria, and after all the salty food I was ready to have a passion fruit juice. And then finally, to conclude the Barcelona food tour of La Boqueria, I bought a cone of sliced Jamón Ibérico. 14:14 Gothic Quarter, Barcelona Cathedral - After an amazing food tour, we walked around the Christopher Columbus monument and then continued on walking around the Gothic Quarter of Barcelona. The Barcelona Cathedral was originally closed when we arrived, but I came back in a few minutes and walked around the Barcelona Cathedral as well. 16:37 Xarcutería La Pineda - Located just around the corner from the Barcelona Cathedral, I headed over to a place called Xarcutería La Pineda (recommended by Chris English), to try the botifarra blanca and a cup of vermouth. It’s an amazing little family run shop with a fantastic array of meats and drinks. Total price - 11.50 EUR 21:25 Basílica de la Sagrada Família - One of the most famous attractions in Barcelona is the Sagrada Familia, a basilica that was famous designed by Antoni Gaudi. I had read and dreamed about visiting for many years, so I was very excited to finally have the chance to visit. What amazed me is how dark and gothic it looks from the outside, yet how light and happy it is on the inside. Sagrada Familia is truly a stunning architectural feat, and an attraction you must visit in Barcelona. Along with visiting the main part of Sagrada Familia, I also bought tickets to go to the Nativity Tower. Going to the top of the tower and walking down was the highlight of visiting. Price - 29.00 EUR per person w/ tower entrance 26:16 Catalan Food for dinner at Restaurant Portolés - For dinner Ying and I walked over to Restaurant Portolés, a local Catalan food restaurant. Some of the main dishes I ordered included Fideuà and Rollitos De Pollo, all of which were delicious. It’s a great restaurant to try in Barcelona. Total price - 26.50 EUR This was a fantastic day in Barcelona, packed with delicious food and attractions in Barcelona. We are in Barcelona and this video is going to highlight 25 things to do here. It is kind of hard to believe our time in Barcelona has expired. So final thoughts. Well, it was a really fun city to visit. Great architecture, really nice beaches. It is very lively especially at night. The only downfall is that we were here in the middle of summer so it was super hot and super crowded and sometimes that made it a little bit difficult to enjoy. Especially at midday or in the mid-afternoon. So keep that in mind. Maybe consider visiting in the springtime, fall, winter. Well, so what did you think of the city? It is definitely a fun city. We had a lot of fun going to the beaches. One thing that is really different about this city compared to some other European cities though is that it is really spread out. In order for us to visit all of these different attractions we had to chunk them together into groups to visit them day by day. Overall, it was a decent city. It didn't quite click with me the same way that Madrid did. But that is just personal preference I suppose. And that is a wrap for Barcelona! Our 5 days in the city flew by, and while this guide didn't cover everything, we hope we were able to give you a feel of what this fun seaside city has to offer. As always, if you have any suggestions of things to do around town, feel free to add them in the comments below. And if you want to catch our latest travel videos, don't forget to hit subscribe! Travel & food guide in Barcelona, Spain. Today is Sunday; we decided to go for a seafood tapas lunch near the beach in Barcelona. The tapas restaurant locates in a small alley; it opens from 13:00. We ordered several small bite tapas dishes there: raw sea urchin sashimi, queen clam with roasted corn as a topping, traditional Spanish ham with deep-fried tomato bread, and grilled seafood mix plate. The first tapas we had is fresh sea urchin. The orange colour of the sea urchin makes the dish looks so amazing. The taste of the sea urchin is similar to the crab cream. It is so rich and creamy; it just melted in your mouth within a second. You do not need to bite or chew, just wait till it disappears in your tongue. It is so fresh, and it definitely worth a try! The next dish we got is called queen clam with roasted corn. The clam is fresh and raw; it marinated in the strong vinegar sauce. The sauce well balanced the raw taste of the sea. The topping roasted corn gives the bite a rich oily nutty taste. Personally, I do not like the corn on top so much, it felt like you were chewing the shell of the clam. Before we got our final seafood mix plate, we ordered some more traditional Spanish ham with deep-fried tomato bread. If you go to Spain, you should definitely try this dish; the meat is so friendly to meat lovers. The taste of fattiness of the ham mixed with the crispy bread is truly beautiful and unforgettable! Finally, we got our grilled seafood mix plate. They have shrimps, mussels, clams, rock snails, crab legs; it is a real mix of the taste of the sea. In general, the seafood mix is really fresh and tasty, but we also found few fish parts which are not fresh anymore. Just a tip, when you go to a seafood restaurant in Barcelona, pay attention to your every bite. What to Do when your Bored! Barcelona Travel Guide! I show you what to do when your bored at home or on vacation. Don't spend all your time on a computer. There is so many fun things to do when bored. Just step outside and explore the world. We filmed this video when we traveled to Barcelona - So it's a tiny Barcelona Travel Guide, travel vlog. http://sarabeautycorner.com/ This what to do when you're bored video was filmed in Barcelona so you will also see a bit of Barcelona travel guide and tips. A fun thing to do when you're bored is going to the park. Instead of being at home on a computer you can spend a few hours strolling through your nearest park. Take with you a friend or go alone. The fresh air and a bit of activity makes wonders for our body and soul. When in Barcelona we visited park Guell. What is better than a day in the amusement park? I love visiting these fantasy places when I have the opportunity. Not a big fan of scary roller coasters though. In the video you can enjoy the whole Shamballa Port Aventura coaster ride. The fastest, tallest roller coaster in Europe. Few things make me more relaxed than spending time on the beach. Listening to the waves and the seagulls while reading a good book. Is there anything better? We had amazing few hours on the Barcelona beach, which is huge and sandy – just how we like it, right? An awesome thing to when bored is going shopping with friends. This doesn't mean that you need to spend a ton of money. I actually never buy that much when going shopping. To me the important part is hanging with friends, boyfriend or my mom, while walking from a store to store. While shopping in Barcelona we observed some awesome architecture like La Pedrera and House Batllo. Whether you are in your home town or on a trip, sightseeing is a great thing to do when bored. Every city is special and full of interesting sights. So take a walk around, visit a gallery or a museum. One of my favorite things to do when bored is visiting the local farmers market. Barcelona's biggest market is called la Bouqueria. The selection of sweets, fruits and juices was amazing and I had to grab a fruit cup. My mouth still water when I think of it. I love trying out new recipes when I am bored. Travel somewhere far by cooking a traditional meal of that country. You can learn so much about the other cultures through the food. So go ahead, cook something special today. If you are an animal lover you love visiting a zoo or an aquarium, right? We went to Barcelona aquarium and admired small and big sea animals, even sharks. Learning something new about our planet, animals and plants is always a time well spent. Probably the best thing you can do when bored is do some sports. Activity is vital to keep us energized and healthy. So go out for a run or play a team sport like football with friends. Instead of spending all your free time on a computer in your room, try to go outside from time to time. There's so many exciting activities waiting for you! Hello Hoppers! So excited about showing you the first few days of our Mediterranean cruise on the Norwegian Epic. The first 2 days we just chilled on the ship but on the 3rd day we visited the magnificent Amalfi Coast in Italy. We hired private drivers, natives of the area, and it was a great choice since they showed us beautiful places but also how life is in Italy. We were thrilled with our drivers Rino, Aldo, and Antonio, and with Josephine, who arranged everything for our group. Grazie for showing us a great time in the Amalfi Coast!! Soundtrack: Akira. Musicvideobeatz: Vecz After we have been able to cooperate with the German Consulate in NYC on our transatlantic youth Network the "BronxBerlinConnection" in the past, we were invited to Barcelona for the first time in 2012 in order to conduct school workshops and concerts. After what can only be described as a "very successful" first outing we were invited to return in 2013 in order to conduct further workshops and concerts throughout the city and within a vast network of schools. In 2013 we were also able to invite young artists from NYC´s Hip Hop ReEducation Project" in order to realize a 3 city project and to embark on our Barcelona "School Tour" together. The GangwayBeatz Barcelona Tour was funded by the German Consulate and the Goethe Institut in Barcelona. We are very happy to present the Tour documentary.... Filmed, edited and directed by CitéNOIR. That's because there are so many tourist trap tapas bars out there serving soulless, flavourless junk. And it can be really difficult to find the great places. But fear not, having spent a lot of time in this city, I've finally narrowed down a list of 8 of the best tapas bars in the city. These places will not disappoint - great food, excellent wines and full of soul. So, I hope you enjoy this tapas tour of Barcelona's best tapas bars, which I did recently with two my colleagues from Devour Tours - my fellow Devour Tours co-founder Lauren Aloise (check out her Spanish food blog: https://www.spanishsabores.com) and Devour's marketing director Katie Stearns. Together we tackled 8 top tapas bars on what was an epic tapas tour and also a wine tour (we tried vermouth, white wine, red wine and even Spanish dessert wine). So, if you´re coming to Barcelona, check out this video so you don't wind up stumbling into a tourist traps. The bars we hit were: 1. Bodegas Maestrazgo 2. Bodega Puntual 3. El Chigre 4. La Viña del Señor 5. Bar del Pla 6. Bar Brutal 7. Bar La Plata 8. Bodega La Palma #SpainRevealed #JamesBlick #barcelona 💃 This video was filmed by my wife, the wonderful Flamenco Guide: http://bit.ly/2itRInb 🙋♂️ WHO AM I 🙋♂️ ⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯ Hola! I’m James Blick. Spain is my passion! It’s food, its culture, its history and its people. And I get a massive kick out of sharing everything I’ve learned with visitors to this country. My mission? To help you have a true, rich and delicious experience in Spain! I’m from New Zealand and have been living in Madrid since 2011 (which my Spanish wife, Yolanda). I’m a co-founder of Devour Tours, where we offer award-winning food & culture tours in Spain’s most delicious destinations. I’ve been featured on the BBC, CBS and Channel 4 talking about Spain and its food and I’ve also written for The Guardian, Sunday Times, El País and others about Spain as a culinary destination. And finally, I make these videos - because it causes me a lot of pain to think that people are in Spain and having a less-than-authentic experience! Thank you for watching my videos. I’d love it if you’d comment on them. Tell me what you like, don’t like and what you want to see more of! And give it a thumbs up if you enjoyed it, and share it with your friends who are heading to Spain. It all helps others find my videos! Take a tour of Barcelona, Spain - part of the World's Greatest Attractions series by GeoBeats. Hi, this is your host, Naomi. I would like to show you the top ten attractions of Barcelona. Number 10 - Parc Guell. Barcelona has many great landmarks designed by the world renowned architect, Antoni Gaudi. One of them is the unique Parc Guell. Number 9 - Plaza de Espana. It is a grand, massive square in the middle of Barcelona. The square was built back in 1920 for the international exhibition. Number 8 - La Boqueria, a colorful market where you will find both locals and visitors. Besides the freshness of produce, presentation is extremely eye catching. Number 7 - Casa Batllo. This Antoni Gaudi designed building has the appearance of being made from skulls and bones. It's roof is just as fascinating. Number 6 - Gothic Quarter. It the center of Barcelona's Old City. Amidst the buildings from medieval times, you will feel transported back in time. Number 5 - Barcelona Cathedral, a beautiful cathedral located in the city's Gothic Quarter. It's impressive gothic architecture dates back to the 14th century. Number 4 - Beaches. Many people are not aware that Barcelona has an excellent beach scene. Locals love to relax by one of the many great beaches in the city. Number 3 - La Rambla, probably the most famous area of Barcelona and very popular amongst tourists. Don't forget to appreciate the history while watching street performers. Number 2 - Casa Mila, also known as La Pedrera, it was architected by the great Antoni Gaudi. The unusual rooftop can be seen on many postcards from Barcelona. And Number 1 - La Sagrada Familia. This was the largest project by Antoni Gaudi. The construction of this world famous church began in 1882 and is still ongoing. Keep watching our travel video series. See you next time.

Mostly Complete tour of the beautiful OASIS of the Seas. We went on a 7-night Western Caribbean Cruse with RC in Feb, 2017. It was a great time. We stopped at Labadee, Haiti, Falmouth, Jamaica, and Cozumel Mexico. I put this together for my kids with an iPhone 6+ and a GoPro Hero 3+... I figured I'd share it here in case someone else wanted to take a closer look at this amazing ship. Enjoy.

We start our last day by eating breakfast at Alsur Cafe. Then it's time to explore the famous Park Guell by Gaudi which had a beautiful view of the city. After the park, it was time for more sea-glass hunting and we found a massive piece! It's not an IanEatsBurgers episode unless I have a burger. We ate at MakaMaka cafe which wasn't great. The day ends with a scenic walk home and some dog spotting. Hope you enjoy!

HELLO GUYS HOW R U ALL , IN THIS VIDEO IM TALK ABOUT SPAIN . #SPAIN #SPAINFACTS #SPAINGIRLS Spain (Spanish: España [esˈpaɲa] (About this sound listen)), officially the Kingdom of Spain (Spanish: Reino de España),[a][b] is a sovereign state located on the Iberian Peninsula in southwestern Europe, with two large archipelagoes, the Balearic Islands in the Mediterranean Sea and the Canary Islands off the North African Atlantic coast, two cities, Ceuta and Melilla, in the North African mainland and several small islands in the Alboran Sea near the Moroccan coast. The country's mainland is bordered to the south and east by the Mediterranean Sea except for a small land boundary with Gibraltar; to the north and northeast by France, Andorra, and the Bay of Biscay; and to the west and northwest by Portugal and the Atlantic Ocean. It is the only European country to have a border with an African country (Morocco)[h] and its African territory accounts for nearly 5% of its population, mostly in the Canary Islands but also in Ceuta and Melilla. With an area of 505,990 km2 (195,360 sq mi), Spain is the largest country in Southern Europe, the second largest country in Western Europe and the European Union, and the fourth largest country in the European continent. By population, Spain is the sixth largest in Europe and the fifth in the European Union. Spain's capital and largest city is Madrid; other major urban areas include Barcelona, Valencia, Seville, Bilbao and Málaga. Modern humans first arrived in the Iberian Peninsula around 35,000 years ago. Iberian cultures along with ancient Phoenician, Greek and Carthaginian settlements developed on the peninsula until it came under Roman rule around 200 BCE, after which the region was named Hispania, based on the earlier Phoenician name Sp(a)n or Spania. At the end of the Western Roman Empire the Germanic tribal confederations in migration from Central Europe invaded the Iberian peninsula and established themselves in relatively independent realms in its western provinces. The Visigoths migrating from Eastern Europe were allowed to settle in federated status in the neighbor province of Aquitania in 511, with the treaty obligations among others to assist the Empire with military allied support to expeditions defending its provinces in the West. And so they did in Gaul against Franks, Burgundians and the Sueves, Alans and Vandals depredations in the Iberian peninsula. The military campaigns success against the Vandals and Alans was so sounded that their dominion over the provinces of Betica and Carthaginensis were ended and they restored to the Empire. Both would unite and eventually leave the peninsula for Africa to form the Vandal kingdom. After the fall of the Roman Empire, the Goths established the independent Kingdom of Toulouse expanding their domination over the extant Roman provinces in Gaul and Hispania. They took immediate military control of the Narbonensis, Auvergne and Provence and in the peninsula, the Tarraconensis and Carthaginensis from local provincial authorities, and wrestled control of Baetica and Lusitania from the Suebian Kingdom, placing a match to their expansion and passing to be the dominant power in the peninsula regardless of Byzantines and Frankish and Burgundians later incursions or dominion in parts the peninsula. The Suebian kingdom, some independent Hispano-Roman local regions and the Byzantines provincial realm in the peninsula, would be integrated by force into the successor Kingdom of Toledo that more or less unified politically, ecclesiastically and legally all the former Roman provinces or successor kingdoms of what was then known in documents as Hispania.
