EGYPTIAN FALAFEL SANDWICH WRAPS: Delicious Middle Eastern Vegetarian Street Food in Waterloo, London
✓ This is Waterloo's "Best Kept Secret" Falafel Wrap place: i.e the people who need to know, know about it !!! The other people can carry on going to get their falafel wraps from starbucks and pret a manger. The market stall going by the name "Vegetarian Falafel" serves these gorgeous pure vegetarian wraps in Waterloo, London.............what makes the wraps they serve up such a treat is that they wrap it in a middle eastern flat bread or Saj bread (almost like an Indian style naan bread). What makes the pure vegan and vegetarian wraps extra special is that once it's all wrapped up; it's then grilled it so it's served piping hot........please be warned that these wraps are absolutely delicious !!! There is no secret to the recipe & preparation because the Chefs make everything in full view of you. The filling includes: Hummus, Chilli Sauce, freshly cut lettuce, Fried Aubergine, Fried Carrot, Grilled Haloumi Cheese (sometimes spelled Halloumi), Pickled Gherkin, Pickled Turnip (coloured pink with Beetroot), Hot Jalepeno Peppers, Tahini (Sesame Sauce), freshly fried Falafel balls. This is Egyptian Street food at it's very best !!! We reckon that the chef who makes the falafel here qualifies as one of the fastest fried falafel makers we've. Appropriately the stall is simply named "Vegetarian Falafel" and is located in St Johns church's forcourt and is very close to Waterloo Station. The "fully loaded" falafel wraps are served in two sizes: Medium = £4.00 & Large = £5.00 The guys open 5 days a week at lunch time.
Eastern Iran. On Her Bike Around the World. Episode 10
Follow my journey on: FACEBOOK: http://facebook.com/onherbike INSTAGRAM: http://instagram.com/onherbike BLOG: http://onherbike.com In April 2017 I left Australia for a solo trip around the world on a BMW F800GS. I named it “Are We There Yet”, because I don't know my final destination or the duration of this journey. Iran was the ninth country I visited. Officially motorcycles over 250cc are illegal in Iran and woman are not allowed to ride. But Iran is a strange country where the law is one thing and the way people interpret it, another. Normally these laws apply to Iranian citizens but not so much to tourists on big bikes. During my stay I didn't have any problems at the border crossings or on the road when stopped by Police... and I was stopped a lot! Despite how Iran is perceived in the world’s media and how distorted the public’s knowledge of Iran is, It's a stable country, open to tourism, with a low crime rate. All the people I've come across were kind and generous, even the Police! As a woman travelling solo, I've never felt safer than in Iran. I entered Iran from Turkmenistan and traveled South. This Episode shows my first few days through Dasht-e Kavir (Salt Desert) from Bojnurd to Yazd. If you wish to get more details on my stay in Iran check out my blog post: http://onherbike.com/content/iran Throughout my journey I'm raising money for a young disabled child in Poland named Franek. Franek was diagnosed with cerebral palsy (weakness of the entire right side of the body) and he will require constant rehabilitation for the rest of his life. All the money raised will go directly to helping Franek and his family lead as normal a life as possible so please donate generously: https://gogetfunding.com/arewethereyet/ ★★★ GEAR MANIFEST ★★★ For those that are interested in the gear I’m using here’s a list of the items most frequently asked about: ★ Gear On My Bike ★ BMW Aluminum Side Cases: http://amzn.to/2DzvTYI BMW Aluminum Top Box: http://amzn.to/2naGpPa BMW Case Inner Right Bag for: http://amzn.to/2E8mOre BMW Case Inner Left Bag: http://amzn.to/2rH7aQY BMW Tank Bag F800GS: http://amzn.to/2Fdp5AG BMW Motorrad Luggage Roll: http://amzn.to/2Dy4RB4 Outback Motortek Lower & Upper Crash Bars https://outbackmotortek.com/ Outback Motortek Skid Plate https://outbackmotortek.com/ Camel Tank - auxiliary 7 liter fuel tank https://camel-adv.com Barkbusters VPS Handguards: http://amzn.to/2GgM9zM Barkbusters LED White Light http://barkbusters.net/products/accessories-spare-parts/4922-LED-002/ Andy Straps Expedition Tank Panniers: https://www.andystrapz.com/product/expedition-tank-pannierz/expedition-tank-pannierz Wunderlich Touring screen Vario F 800 GS: https://www.wunderlich.de/shop/en/touring-screen-vario-f-800-gs-25370-300-1.html ★ Riding gear ★ BMW EnduroGuard Jacket Woman: http://amzn.to/2E9ecR9 BMW EnduroGuard Jacket Man: http://amzn.to/2rDUMkA BMW EnduroGuard Woman Pants: http://amzn.to/2Dw9Fa9 BMW EnduroGuard Man Pants: http://amzn.to/2BqzNS6 BMW Pro Summer Gloves Woman: http://amzn.to/2n9EwlK Skins Women's A400 Compression Tights: http://amzn.to/2GiISA4 Skins Men's A400 Compression Tights: http://amzn.to/2rCQ2M7 Skins Women's A400 Compression Top: http://amzn.to/2BtFrCW Skins Men's A400 Compression Top: http://amzn.to/2Brm3GI Forma Terra Boots: http://amzn.to/2DIWy8R Schuberth E1 Helmet: http://amzn.to/2rDJVXY BMW Rallye Gloves: http://amzn.to/2rHsINs ★ Camping Gear ★ MSR Hubba Hubba: http://amzn.to/2E8tTYK Helinox Chair: http://amzn.to/2Fcnviq Exped Downmat UL Winter LW: http://amzn.to/2E8HQ93 Sea to Summit Aeros Pillow Premium: http://amzn.to/2BrkaK7 Primus Omni Fuel Stove with Ergo Pump & Fuel Bottle: http://amzn.to/2nbrVP5 Sea to Summit Thermolite Reactor Extreme Mummy Bag Liner: http://amzn.to/2FcomzE SOL Escape Lite Bivvy Survival Sleeping Bag: http://amzn.to/2Fdlrqu MSR 4L Dromedary Bag Hydration Bladder: http://amzn.to/2Dzluwd ★ Gadgets ★ Sena 10C Motorcycle Bluetooth Camera and Communication System :http://amzn.to/2DCFLoP Sena Prism Bluetooth Action Camera: http://amzn.to/2DBrKYx Go Pro Hero Black5: http://amzn.to/2DxtQo7 Olympus TG-4 16 MP Waterproof Digital Camera: http://amzn.to/2E8BPcu Drone DJI Mavic Pro Combo: http://amzn.to/2rBiKNn DISCLAIMER: This video and description may contain affiliate links to products which I use or have used. India Documentary: The Unexplored Paradise of North-East India
This India Travel Documentary centers on the area of India beyond the Siliguri junction squeezing through Nepal and Bangladesh, which is a relatively unexplored area as far as tourism, especially the "7 sister" states of Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura. This region is wildly diverse, and aptly earns it's name of being "paradise unexplored." This documentary features 9 states of India, where we explore the places, eat the food, and meet the people. 40 LifeHacks that Save Over $2000 a Month ($4.99): http://thetickettotravel.com/product/40-lifehacks-that-save-over-2000-dollars-per-month-ebook/ ***Tripura became part of India in 1949 and in 1972 became it's own state. At £2.50 is this the Cheapest Freshly made Falafel Naan Wrap in London? Middle Eastern Street Food.
Follow us on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/mr07623445678/ ✓ It doesn't get any better (or cheaper) than this. We absolutely love down to earth, honest places like this.........can you believe that for only £2.50 we were given a wrap comprising of a freshly prepared garlic butter naan bread, which was then filled with 4 pieces of freshly fried crispy falafel balls, sitting on top of a freshly cut salad of Tomato and Lettuce and then given a generous drizzle of Chilli and Tahini (Tahina) sauces. Honestly you tell me, where else can you dine out and feed a family of four for just £10:00??? with such freshly made food. This is delicious restaurant quality vegetarian cuisine served at street food prices. Kurdistan / Iraqi Falafal & Nan bread Watching the naan being made you can see that it's a very similar technique & method to the way Indian Tandoor Naan bread is made. Fresh Nan Bakery is at 143 High Street, approximately around about the midway point of the world famous one mile long Walthamstow Market, London. (If your planning to visit or have any questions; you can phone ahead if you need to on: 07732 535 312). Video recorded on Saturday 3rd June 2017. Delicious Middle Eastern Street Food: Vegetarian Falafel / Hummus / Salad Wraps by "Chick P" London.
✓ We've just "discovered" this market stall going by the name "Chick P", they're serving up these gorgeous pure vegetarian wraps in Primrose Hill Saturday Market, London...........please be warned, these wraps are absolutely delicious !!! Unlike some well known (& lesser known) fast food restaurants and takeaways, there was no microwave or frozen food to be seen at this stall because thankfully everything is freshly prepared & cooked to order. What makes the wrap such a treat is that they freshly fry the falafels (when you place your order), so that it is served piping hot within a matter of minutes; where the outside of the falafel is delightfully golden & crispy and the inside is deliciously fluffy. There is no secret to the preparation because they make everything in full view of you. The filling includes: Homemade Hummus, Cucumber, Tomato, Hot Pickled Baby Chillies, Pickled Gherkin, Pickled Red & White Cabbage, Falafel. * Tahini (a sauce made with Sesame seeds, Salt, Lemon, Herbs & Spices). * Harissa Sauce (made with Chillies & Red Peppers). There is the option to add either (or all) of the following: Haloumi, Feta Cheese, Roasted Red Peppers (in a tangy olive oil dressing). (To anyone wondering if cheese should go into the wrap; the question is not one we would ask because all we want to know is if its delicious & the answer to that is a definite yes). Put simply this is delicious restaurant quality food; but at street food prices!!! Ordinarily they use either brown or white pita but on the day of our visit they were wrapping everything using plain tortilla type flatbreads (very similar to Indian roti or chapatti). The owner Ashley developed and perfected the Falafel recipe after he went traveling around in several Middle Eastern countries trying and tasting many versions of falafel along the way. The actual full recipe is a closely guarded secret but we are told that the: * Falafel is made using Coriander and Cumin (as well as a few more secret spices). * Homemade Humous is made using dried chickpeas (which have been soaked overnight & boiled down with lemon, garlic & salt). As well as Primrose Hill Saturday Market, you can also find them trading Tuesday to Thursdays between 11:00am to 2:30pm in Central London outside: the Dutch Church, Austin Friars, EC2N 2HA Follow them on Instagram: @chickp_streetfood or join their Facebook Group page: Chickp Streetfood If you have any questions you can contact then at: [email protected] (Video recorded on Saturday 7th January 2017).

Buying a Delicious Falafel Wrap - Middle Eastern Street Food: by “Friendly Falafels”, Hampstead.
This is one of Hampsteads (& London's) best kept secret eating places. If you've ever been to South End Green, (in Hampstead near the Royal Free Hospital) in the evenings (or in the afternoon on a Sunday); then surely you will have seen these guys (or even have been fortunate enough to have gotten a taste of their falafels), they seem to have been here forever............actually they were established in 1989 (that's nearly 30 years, so they must be doing something right!!!) We think that this shop qualifies as one of the smallest mobile falafel wrap shops in the world, it is absolutely tiny; but everything required is in place to produce some of the most delicious falafal wraps & boxes around. On the day of our visit we were quite hungry, so had no option but to have the fully loaded wrap;-) What makes the wrap such a treat is that they wrap everything up using a "Middle Eastern Saj Bread style" wholemeal flatbread. There is no secret to the recipe & preparation because they make everything in full view of you. It's all started by being given a generous spread of: * Humus and then filled with the following: * An Aubergine & Split Beans mix. * Lettuce Salad. * Grated Carrot. * Finely chopped Red Cabbage. * & of course the freshly made Falafel balls (The actual recipe is a secret but Anat kindly reveals that some of the ingredients include Cumin, Garlic & Coriander; & was created from a family recipe and perfected over the last 26 years). & then finally given a generous drizzle of: * Tahina (Sesame) sauce. * Sweet Chilli & Hot Chilli sauces. This is restaurant quality food but at street food prices!!! You can find them located outside the "House of Mistry Chemist Shop, 15 to 17 South End Road, Belsize Park, London NW3 2PT, UK" (opposite the Garden Gate Pub, London, United Kingdom) on the following days & evenings at the following times: Monday......8:00pm to 11:00pm Wednesday...8:00pm to 12:00 midnight Thursday....8:00pm to 12:00 midnight Friday......8:00pm to 12:00 midnight Saturday....8:00pm to 12:00 midnight Sunday......2:00pm to 10:00pm If you have any questions or if you're planning a visit to especially taste the falafel, then you can phone (or text) ahead to confirm opening times & days of trading, you can call them on: 07713 186 030 (Joe) or 07720 326 279 (Anat) Here's links to their social media pages: Facebook: Friendly Falafels Twitter: @FriendlyFalafel God Bless the Queen...........the Queen of Falafel - Friendly Falafels (Video recorded Sunday 25th September 2016.

Eastern & Oriental Express Vacation Travel Video Guide
Travel video about destination Eastern & Oriental Express in Singapore. Singapore is a city of gardens and the heart of South East Asia. It is here that the journey begins on the Eastern & Oriental Express, a nostalgic train journey that has all the exotic atmosphere of colonial times. The history of Singapore began in 1819 with Stamford Raffles, a young official who worked for the British East India Company. Raffles estimated that the natural harbour was perfect for trading ships and thus bought the land from the Sultan Of Johor and founded a trading settlement. The train station exudes the ambience of British colonialism and is an ideal setting for those who love nostalgia. The journey begins and soon we arrive at the Malaysian border. This is the first section of our extraordinary train journey from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur. After eight hours we reach Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia’s modern capital city that is relatively young and was established in the middle of the nineteenth century at the junction of the Gombak and Kelang Rivers. The journey continues along splendid route through the jungle that since 1923 has connected Singapore with Bangkok, with Butterworth as the next station from where a bridge and ferry boat lead to the island of Penang that is also known as The Pearl Of The Orient. The next section travels further north to Kanchaburi in Thailand and to the bridge on the River Kwai, a somewhat inconspicuous bridge that once brought infamy to this region. For those who are fascinated by the evocative atmosphere of Colonial times the extra special train journey from Singapore to Bangkok must surely be the journey of a lifetime! -------------- Watch more travel videos ► https://goo.gl/MXPgSs Join us. Neither Sam nor I had been here before, but this destination proved to have it all, from unique accommodations and adventure activities to beautiful hiking trails and an emerging foodie scene. We spent 2 days exploring the area in partnership with Tourisme Quebec and Merrell Canada, and here’s a look at what we got up to! Our first stop was La Rumeur Affamée, which is a gourmet food shop right in the heart of Sutton specializing in local products. We dropped by to pick up a few items for a picnic since we had an action-packed day ahead of us. And being the foodies that we are, we couldn’t resist sampling a few cheese and caramel spreads while we were in there! With our picnic lunch sorted, we got in the car and drove out to Au Diable Vert. This place started out as a mountain lodge, but it’s grown to become an outdoor playground with lots of activities on offer. After watching a quick instruction video, it was time to hop on this zipline bicycle Vélo Volant! The circuit ran through the forest, over ponds, along ravines, and we also got glimpses of the Green Mountains of Vermont off in the distance. The nice thing about this activity is that we could only go as fast as we pedalled, and we were encouraged to take it slow and stop to enjoy nature and our surroundings. Once we reached the rooster, we chose one of the many trails on the property. Later on in the afternoon, we went kayaking in the river, where the staff’s only warning was, “Don’t paddle more than 5 kilometres south or you’ll end up in Vermont!” The waters here were dark but very shallow and calm with hardly a current, so if you’ve been wanting to try kayaking, this is a great place to do so for the first time. I also noticed that they had Stand Up Paddleboarding, but it was early autumn, and we weren’t sure we wanted to go for a swim if we lost our balance! We did a daytime unguided kayaking tour, but they also offer guided moonlight tours if that’s more your thing. From there, we drove back to our chalet at Huttopia, which was our home away from home. That afternoon we drove into Sutton. This is a charming little town in the Eastern Townships and it’s very walkable, so we parked that car and ventured out on foot. The main street here is lined with cafes, boutiques, art galleries and historic buildings, so we enjoyed a leisurely stroll before making our way to a microbrewery for dinner at A L’Ábordage. And that’s a wrap for our adventures in and around Sutton. We hope you guys enjoyed this video, and we’ll see you in the next one where we continue our trip through Quebec’s Eastern Townships! This is part of our Travel in Canada video series showcasing Canadian food, Canadian culture and Canadian cuisine. Music by Artlist: https://artlist.io/Audrey-184699

TEL AVIV STREET FOOD | Arabic Street Food + Hummus HEAVEN - Middle Eastern + Israeli Food in Israel
HUMMUS HEAVEN in Tel Aviv + ARABIC STREET FOOD The price for the CARMEL MARKET STREET FOOD TOUR: $90 USD per person. We personally paid for all the food in this video. Delicious Israel Food Tours & Cooking Classes: https://www.deliciousisrael.com/ Email: [email protected] Tel Aviv is a bustling, young city with a food scene heavily influenced by the countries that surround it, as well as a focus of vegetarian/vegan food. In this episode, we partnered with Delicious Israel to learn about the origin of the food, the fresh ingredients used and the best places to find them. Inbal, the founder of Delicious Israel, showed us all around the Carmel Market, and located some AWESOME street food & hidden gems inside. Thank you Inbal and Delicious Israel! To connect with the DELICIOUS ISRAEL team and arrange your food tour, click the links below: Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/DeliciousIsrael We started our day with Sabich for breakfast, a very popular street food you can eat almost any time of the day (so healthy!), and then a Turkish dessert, Malebi with Arabic coffee. Then, we enter the Carmel Market to sample some local spices and enjoy two types of hummus. Next, Inbal takes us to a local kitchen to eat Yemini food, a bread that is fried with egg and with hummus and zhug (SPICY!). We then try Syrian cookies, and stopped by a stall making fresh pitas. We end the day with a fresh, street-side falafel. All food featured in this video was paid for in full by us. #TELAVIV #STREETFOOD #CHOPSTICKTRAVEL Follow us on social media for recent updates! www.facebook.com/chopsticktravel www.instagram.com/chopsticktravel Become a member for exclusive bloopers & private livestream: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCp2dhjQXkhY1O40lj15JQzw/join Patreon Membership (SAME PERKS): https://www.patreon.com/join/chopsticktravel? ——————————————————————————————————————— Hey there, we’re Luke Martin and Sabrina Davidson with www.chopsticktravel.com ! Eastern Travels
This is one of the few instrumentals that I dared to put together. It took me quite a while to play the parts. I put a lot of time and effort in trying to get the parts right so this is a very personal recording to me. The images in my mind while writing and recording this was of all of the insane wars in the middle east. I added this track to my solo CD album 'Songs Of Fragrance' available from Itunes, Amazon and many other outlets. Player's; Paul; Vocals, Acoustic Guitar, Electric Guitar, All Keyboards, Percussion Jon Scott; Bass Joe Crabtree; Drums Marklew (C) ......................................................... Let me know what you think about the track? May you or a friend can create a video or a cover for it and get involved?? There's more of material on my channel and also more of my songs here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCXCkCBN3zPLaVnkTaAzW61A
