Venice beach + Hollywood - Best of Los Angeles, California - "Visiting Places Series"
Virginia and I have visited Los Angeles in beautiful, California on more than one occasion. Best things to see and visit while in L.A. : We went to Venice beach, Santa Monica beach, Hollywood walk of fame, Sunset Boulevard, Shopping to different places. One place that I will most definitely want to visit again is: Venice Beach. Never got bored and there is always something new and exciting happening there. Travel and seeing new places, people and experiences, brings me a feeling of personal satisfaction and pleasure. Absolutely love to travel and to share this new experience with you So here we are. I have merged two trips into one to show as much as i have gotten in pictures and a little recording. The muscle beach is definitely an interesting place to hang out, then ...the cafes, stores, street art...all fun and always diverse. There are actually two areas - one on Venice beach and the other one on Santa Monica beach. I even had a guy serenading me on the beach, that was so sweet. We both truly had an Amazing time and want to go back soon. I definitely didn't do enough shopping last time. We visited a health food store, that had supplements we needed and are not available in Canada, only USA. I really want to mention, that we went on a tour provided by the hotel :of the Rich and Famous Hollywood homes, and that turned out to be a complete waste of money, we drove around only saw the homes from the bus, through the trees, and never entered any celebrity home at all. Special thanks to Virginia for accompanying me on this trip, it wouldn't be the same without you. Virginia's channel : https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCuqC... How to Be an Alpha Male: Hollywood Attraction Secrets
Free Alpha Male Training ► https://theattractionswitch.com/ Learn how James Bond charms women around the world. ↓↓↓ READ MORE ↓↓↓ Free eBook "3 Evil Things" ► http://bit.ly/2e6xiMl If you are wondering how to be an alpha male, or you are wondering about the easy steps to attract women, you're at the right place. Here you're going to learn how to be walk confidently, how to have a confident eye contact and how to generally radiate self confidence no matter what you do the James-Bond-style. From the moment she sits next to him, Bond is self-confident and that's exactly how alpha men are. THey know how to radiate that confidence, they know how to be calm and relaxed regardless of girl's looks.... That's why James is calm, relaxed.. And teasing… Usually when a beautiful girl sits next to a guy, he’ll try to impress her… he’ll try to make her laugh or somehow grab her attention… and he’ll show his excitement or nervousness with quick movements of his head or arms… Now, even though excitement is usually very attractive, in a case when a guy becomes excited when only when he meets a girl, it is not attractive at all… because it implies neediness. You might not look at it that way, but from woman’s perspective, a guy who gets excited when he meets her shows that he’s a low status guy… he gets impressed by her looks … which is a huge turnoff for girls... Now, James Bond as an alpha male does just the opposite: He controls his movements and slowly, nonchalantly checks her out… he doesn’t make a big deal out of it… but notice that if he checked her out quickly, it would change everything… the tension… the charm… she wouldn’t get that impression of him because instead of looking as an alpha male, he would look inferior.. So, whenever you’re meeting a girl, make sure to slow down your movements. It does wonders. Now, most men will have no problem looking at a girl when she is talking to them, but when they are speaking, they look away quite a lot and they do not even notice it… Now, to a girl that looks distracting and as she’s wondering why you’re so distracted, she can’t focus on what you’re talking about. So, the next time you’re talking to a girl, try the opposite: occasionally look away when she’s talking to you but when you’re talking to her, look at her all the time. This literally plays with her brain because it seems like you’re present in the moment when you’re speaking while she needs to work a bit harder to catch your attention... This is literally game on another level, but playing with her brain stirs her emotions, and that’s what we want. This is the key. There’s a bottle of wine on the table and he takes it to sour some wine to her even though she didn’t ask for it. That’s him taking a dominant role that’s natural to him… he doesn’t even think about it. Now, if taking a dominant role is not inborn for you, whenever you’re in such situation, just ask yourself: what would James Bond do, and do it. It sounds silly, but when you do it, it trains your brain to think in a way that you’re an alpha male… that you are in charge of everything… and after a couple of times you do it, you’ll notice it comes by itself. If you take a look at their bodies, you’ll notice that the girl is very interested in Bond.. she’s leaning forward… she’s looking at him all the time… while Bond nonchalantly leans back. Now, when I was just starting to learn Attraction, a mentor of mine showed me how just by looking at body language of a guy and a girl talking in a bar, you could clearly tell who liked the other person more. Always, ALWAYS the person leaning more forward WAS the person who WAS more interested. Now, girls might not notice it immediately, but if you do it, they’ll notice some kind of pressure… And they’re not gonna like it. So, whenever you’re talking to a girl early on, make sure you’re relaxed and leaning back, because that's exactly what all aplha men do... because it keeps their power strong.. Instead of smiling and showing his teeth like most Americans do, he ambiguously smiles so it’s not clear whether it’s a smile or a smirk. It’s mysterious… it’s playful. And one of the key things that I teach to my clients is that MYSTERY CREATES INTEREST. So, the more clues she has about you but the less answers she has, THE BETTER. Because, when you meet a girl and you literally spitball everything about yourself, she’s not gonna wonder about you when she goes home… on the other hand, when you give her clues about yourself but not the facts, she’s gonna go home and wonder what could be true… what did you mean by that… And the more she’s thinking about you… the more she feels attracted to you. Los Angeles Travel Tips: 13 Things to Know Before You Go to LA
Things you need to know before you travel to Los Angeles California. LA is HUGE. You won't be able to see all of LA, unless you're staying for a very very long time. Los Angeles doesn't have a "center" and Downtown LA is not very exciting. LA is comprised of multiple cities Santa Monica, Beverly Hills, Malibu. Get a rental car - You'll need it to see most tourist attractions in Los Angeles. 2. Traffic - LA has traffic everywhere, all the time. All day, every day. Yes, even at 1am on a weekend. Deal with it. - The freeways have names -- it's not I-405 -- it's "THE 405" 3. Public Transit - LA has a subway! - But it probably doesn't go where you want! Especially the beach! 4. Parking - Is often Valet - and Costs money everywhere - Except when you're parking on the freeway :) - Pay attention to street signs (confusing times and days) 5. Navigation - Know where you're going and take the correct exit - Take the wrong exit and you might end up in some place really sketchy - Lots of little cities, the street numbering changes in different cities 6. Weather - LA is not always sunny and warm - It gets cold -- particularly at night - Shorts in the day, but pants and a jacket at night - And the ocean water is cold too... 70 degrees is as warm as it gets - Inland can be 30 degrees warmer than the beach - Lots of sunscreen - Sunglasses - It's dry -- moisturizer 7. LA is unlike the rest of California - It can feel like a different country, or at least a different state - Venice Beach in particular 8. Hollywood is in the neighborhood called "Hollywood" - West Hollywood is in front of the Hollywood sign (and a different city) with Fancy homes - East Hollywood doesn't have much - North Hollywood over the mountain is a suburb of LA - Oh by the way -- no actors in Hollywood - And if you go see a 30 minute sitcom taping it will take 4+ hours 9. The Valley - Means San Fernando Valley - Burbank, Studio City, North Hollywood, Van Nuys 10. LA's most well known attractions are also some of the most rundown - Hollywood Boulevard or is Tijuana? - Venice Beach, oh my lord 11. LA is casual - Flip flops and shorts are OK except in the most dressy establishments 12. Bring your own shopping bag - Supermarkets charge 10 cents for shopping bags in California 13. Mexican Food in LA is awesome - Get some fish tacos! - And visit King Taco! Visiting the Hollywood Walk of Fame | L.A. Travel
Watch more How to Visit Los Angeles videos: http://www.howcast.com/videos/513651-Visiting-the-Hollywood-Walk-of-Fame-LA-Travel Planning a trip to Los Angeles? A visit to the famous Southern Californian city wouldn't be complete with a stop at the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Learn all about it in this travel video. Los Angeles is the heart of the entertainment industry, and there’s no better proof of that than the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The walk stretches out for blocks on Hollywood Boulevard and Vine Street, with stars made of brass and terrazzo set into the concrete. On each star is the name of someone who has made a great contribution to the entertainment industry--– actors, musicians, directors, producers, and more. There are even some fictional characters, like Bugs Bunny. Since construction started in 1960, well over 2000 stars have been added to the Walk, and more are added each year. A committee of industry experts meets yearly to choose just a few of the best from the the hundreds of applications for new stars. It’s truly a tribute to Hollywood’s best, stretching across generations and genres from Carol Burnett to Houdini to Michael Jackson. At least a few of your favorites are sure to be on the Walk, and you can look up the exact addresses of their stars on the Walk of Fame’s website, so you won’t have any trouble finding them. The Hollywood Walk of Fame is free and open to the public 24/7, so there’s no reason not to visit. Don’t skip one of LA’s most famous attractions!

Hollywood Boulevard Travel Tips: 10 Things to Know Before You Go
10 things you must know before you travel to Hollywood Boulevard in Los Angeles, California. First off, Hollywood Boulevard is definitely not as nice as you think it is. The idealized Hollywood in your head is most certainly better than the real Hollywood. You've seen it on TV for the Oscars, and it's all decked out and amazing. The real Hollywood blvd is filled with shady businesses, crumby souvenir stands, and panhandling “entertainers” who will attempt to shake you down for a photo with them. Hollywood is also huge! There are so many hidden gems in the city, but most of what you’ll find in this immediate location is catered to tourists. Watch more of Ernest on the Trip Astute channel: https://www.youtube.com/c/TripAstute Watch our "10 Things to Do in Hollywood" here: https://youtu.be/_kD0SL9JqZE 2. Parking: Street Parking (Meter Prices -- but watch out!) Expensive Pay Parking Lots My favorite: garage at Hollywood & Highland, which is a mall that includes Chinese and Dolby Theaters. With validation (available with a purchase at shops in the mall), you get 2 hours for $2 or 4 hours for $2 with validation from the Chinese Theater. Daily max of $17 US Highway 101 provides the easiest access via the Highland Avenue exit south. This is also a great place to have a quick meal. There are several restaurants hidden away in this area where you can get a fast and affordable meal away from some of the more touristy restaurants on the main street. 3. Subway Yes, Los Angeles has a subway, and it’s one of the best ways to get to Hollywood, the LA Metro Red Line has 3 stops along Hollywood boulevard. And it’s cheap, only $1.75 per ride, any distance! Hollywood & Western, Hollywood & Vine Hollywood & Highland (Which is the best stop to start at) And it also stops at Universal Studios Hollywood, which isn’t in Hollywood at all! 4. Photos with Street Performers They aren’t there out of the kindness of their hearts, if you take a picture with them, or of them, they’ll expect some money. And sometimes be forceful about it. I’m not telling you not to take a picture with them… just know it’s going to cost you. 5. Food It all is pretty mediocre on Hollywood boulevard, and overpriced. If you want “cheap”, best options are the food court at the top of Hollywood and Highland mall, I like Poknomitry, or there’s an In-N-Out burger a block over on Sunset. If you want better sit-down eats, get off Hollywood blvd, head over to West Hollywood. 6. Making Movies They don’t make them here anymore… most movie making in LA happens in Burbank, which is North of Hollywood. If you are looking for the “movie studio” experience, check out the Warner Brothers Studio Tour, and Paramount Pictures Studio Tour, or Universal Studios Hollywood theme park for their Studio Tour. None of these are near Hollywood boulevard. You can take the subway to Universal Studios Hollywood though. If you want to take a tour of the Dolby Theatre, head to their box office when you first arrive on Hollywood Boulevard, then organize the rest of your day around your scheduled tour time. 7.The Sign: In 1923, an investor by the name of Harry Chandler had the letters ‘Hollywoodland’ constructed to advertise a new real estate development. In 1949, the word ‘land’ was removed from the sign and it became an advertisement for the whole town rather than just one neighbourhood. 8. The stars: It's called the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and celebrities can earn stars in 5 categories. 9. Celebrities have to pay for their star 10. Celebrities can earn multiple stars CLICK HERE TO SUBSCRIBE: http://bit.ly/yellowwsub You might enjoy watching some of these other videos: Yellow Productions on Social Media: FACEBOOK: https://facebook.com/YellowProductionsTravel INSTAGRAM: https://instagram.com/yellowwproductions/ TWITTER: https://twitter.com/chrisraney GOOGLE+: https://google.com/+yellowwproductions Check out my blog: http://yelloww.net My video gear: Sony FDR-AX53 4K Handycam: http://amzn.to/2hYePVc Sony ECMW1M Wireless Microphone: http://amzn.to/2gQKDGG GoPro Fusion 360 Camera: https://amzn.to/2NINKSz LensPen Lens Cleaner: http://amzn.to/2hPYui1 Pacsafe LS250 Anti-theft Shoulder Bag: http://amzn.to/2h0YCNt Manfroto Pixi Mini Tripod: http://amzn.to/2ilJms6 Manfrotto Twist Grip Clamp: http://amzn.to/2hYEnyN

LOS ANGELES Top Places to Visit
In this video we show you a few of our favorite places in Los Angeles, California. Our first stop was The Griffith Observatory, which is a very popular place to go take a hike or just take in the spectacular views. Admission is free!! We loved the hike to see the Hollywood sign (it's a work out). You can't get too close to the sign anymore, but you can still get great pictures from a distance. The Hollywood sign is HUGE! Next stop was Skyspace, this was our first time here and we were not disappointed. We recommend going on the fun filled slide, the views are amazing. Fratelli was a great restaurant to have lunch after a day of activities. There food is amazing! We highly recommend this place for breakfast lunch or just to get a drink or two. Next stop was The Los Angeles County Modern Arts (LACMA). The white lamps are a must see! Don't forget to take a pic! The Ivy is another great restaurant especially for Sunday brunch. It has a beautiful decor with its colorful roses all around the restaurant. It is located in Melrose. Beverly Hills is a must stop, eat and shop! It has countless designer stores, many coffee shops and restaurants. The Graystone Mansion is located in Beverly Hills residential. This Mansion have been in numerous movies, tv shows, and music videos. It has spectacular gardens and views of the city. Admission is free!!! We hope you enjoy this video. Thanks for watching! Top 7 Places to Eat in Los Angeles | L.A. Travel
Watch more How to Visit Los Angeles videos: http://www.howcast.com/videos/513650-Top-7-Places-to-Eat-in-Los-Angeles-LA-Travel Planning a trip to Los Angeles? Learn about the top seven places to eat and drink in this travel video. One eatery offers both top-rate sushi and an excellent chance at a celebrity sighting! With the influence of so many different cultures and the push of trends encouraging creativity, it’s no wonder Los Angeles has a world-class restaurant scene. You’ll have more choices for high end foodie experiences then you’ll know what to do with. One place to start is The Bazaar, where celebrated chef José Andrés brings Spanish cuisine to new innovative heights. Another LA favorite is Italian cuisine. Try the dishes based on rustic Italian home cooking at Angelini Osteria. Or have a thin-crust pizza at Bottega Louie and finish the meal with one of their pastries. Want something more casual? Visit The Apple Pan -- this diner has been a local favorite since the 40s and it still serves up one of the best burgers in LA – (the hickory burger is the way to go!) Or have a French dip sandwich at Philippe the Original, said to be the oldest restaurant in the city, dating as far back as 1908. Or for some Hollywood history and a martini, visit Musso and Frank Grill. Countless old Hollywood stars like Charlie Chaplin, Gary Cooper, and Marilyn Monroe were once regulars there. For something a little more modern, try Katsuya Hollywood. It’s one of LA’s best known sushi restaurants for good reason, and celebrity sightings aren’t uncommon. From French to burgers to sushi, no matter what food experience you’re after, you can find it in LA.

FAMOUS MEMORIAL TOUR: Visiting The Famous Hollywood High School MEMORIAL MURAL
Back in the late 1970s and 1980s I lived near Hollywood High School and would run around the track after school hours. The campus was not fenced and was open to the public, back then. I decided to stop by today, on my walk around Hollywood, and see what it looks like, all of these years later. The "Portrait of Hollywood", painted on the east wall of the school's auditorium, in 2002, by artist Eloy Torrez is beautiful. Hollywood High has been the filming location for many movies and television shows and is also on the National Register of Historic Places. It's a pretty impressive school, as are its many famous alumni. They include: Anthony Anderson Meredith Baxter Valerie Bertinelli Vincent Bugliosi Carol Burnett Diana Canova Keith Carradine Robert Carradine Norman Chandler Lon Chaney, Jr. Johnny Crawford Frank Darabont Linda Evans Nanette Fabray Mike Farrell Jay R. Ferguson Laurence Fishburne The Four Preps singing group Judy Garland James Garner Mitzi Gaynor Alan Hale Jr. Gloria Grahame Barbara Hershey John Huston Lawrence Johnston Chuck Jones Sally Kellerman Swoosie Kurtz Alan Ladd Donovan Leitch Ruta Lee Carole Lombard Joel McCrea Heather Menzies Ann Miller Yvette Mimieux David Nelson Ricky Nelson Marni Nixon Brandy Norwood Sarah Jessica Parker Stefanie Powers John Ritter Jason Robards Mickey Rooney Fred Roos Debbie Rowe Catherine Share William Shockley Ione Skye Alexis Smith Jill St. John The Real Don Steele Vince Taylor Charlene Tilton Lana Turner Joseph Wapner Tuesday Weld Rita Wilson And many others
