There are three ways that we could affect stubborn belly fat and that's through weight training cardiovascular training and nutrition. That's it there's no way to Target fat burn there's no special exercises to burn belly fat. Let's start first with weight training. Weight training is extremely important believe It or Not To Burn stubborn fat. You see everyone's body has a basal metabolic rate. and contrary to popular belief you can drink all the water you want, eat six seven meals a day, and drink coffee, and eat spicy food, however the only thing that is actually linked to a significant increase in your metabolism is an increase in lean body mass. Meaning if we can build more muscle we can eat more food and still burn more fat. A lot of people just get stuck in always trying to cut down. You cut back on calories and then when you plateau you cut back further add some more cardio. Let me tell you something from experience when we get clients that have very little muscle mass it becomes exponentially more difficult to make them lose weight. As everyone else is losing 3, 4 pounds a week they're losing one every other week. This is a hugely Overlook Factor especially by women. Remember even though your ultimate goal is to burn fat your goal with weight training has to be to build muscle because that's ultimately going to be the thing that helps you burn fat the most. Now what's the best way to build muscle with weight training. If your natural like most of the people that watch this channel then you absolutely must strive to lift heavier and heavier weights. Unless you're somebody that enjoys doing hundreds of reps of calaesthetics upping the weights is the best way to ensure that you progressively overload your muscles. Training heavy also helps increase a natural lifters ability to synthesize protein which is again super important for building muscle and building up your metabolism. Now there's been a lot of people that have made the claim that working your sets until failure is a bad idea and doesn't pay off. This is wrong. yes maximal muscle fiber recruitment is necessary to stimulate protein synthesis. And yes you can achieve maximal muscle fiber recruitment with a heavy load and with a light load. However the problem is that most people that use light weights stop before ever achieving maximal muscle fiber recruitment. That's why training to failure especially when you're not in a lab being studied is a far better idea for building muscle. When you fail you can be almost certain that you achieved maximal muscle fiber recruitment and in turn you'll have an increase in muscle protein synthesis. The bottom line is make sure that you're going heavy with your weights at least 3 days a week and if you want more information on sets and Reps I'll include a link at the end for a video i made earlier that dives deep into structuring and setting up your weight training program. Let's talk about element number two which is cardio. You don't want to do just any regular kind of cardio. Especially when a lot of people that have stubborn belly fat need to be working on building muscle. Doing a lot of long duration cardio like jogging for miles is not gonna help you build muscle and it's truly not the most effective way to burn fat. The best type of cardio that you can do for fat loss is interval training. There are tons of different forms of interval training but I'm just going to give you one very simple approach for your cardio workouts. You sprint for 60 seconds and then you walk for 60 seconds. If you're a little more advanced you can Sprint for 60 seconds and then jog for 60 seconds. The cool thing is as opposed to long duration cardio you're going to be done with this work out in just 20 minutes. Now keep in mind to do this correctly and to experience the fat burning effects when you sprint you have to Sprint. Whenever you're doing interval training, when you're doing the "work" interval you almost always want a maximum effort.

These foods are extremely high in a type of xenoestrogen known as zearalenone or ZEA. ZEA is molecularly similar to estrogen and acts like estrogen in the body. One study examined the effect that ZEAs had on a drug called Letrozole, which is specifically designed to lower estrogen levels in the body. Bodybuilders will often take it get to really low levels of body fat. The researchers found that, even small amounts of ZEA negated the effects of Letrozole. That’s a powerful indicator of the estrogen boosting effect of all those ZEA’s that are found in wheat and grain products. As well as the ZEA problem, wheat also contains phytoestrogens. They’re found in the wheat germ which is the reproductive part of the wheat seed. These phytoestrogens will bind to estrogen receptor sites in your body’s cells. In a study that was designed to investigate the combined effect of wheat germ and a breast cancer treatment pharmaceutical it was noted that one of the side effects of wheat germ was that it increased estrogen receptor activity of MCF-7 cells. However, refined grain products remove the germ, making them slightly less of a problem when it comes to estrogen. Overall though, you should limit your consumption of wheat and grain based products. Our third estrogen food type to avoid is processed carbs and refined sugars. Hopefully, you’ve already cut back on these types of foods if you're trying to bring your body fat levels down. But there’s an extra reason to ditch these types of carbs. And it has to do with that powerful blood sugar regulating hormone, insulin. As well as causing you to store more body fat, insulin lowers your body’s levels of what is known as sex hormone binding globulin. The job of this globulin is to bind the two sex hormones, testosterone and estrogen, together. When it's doing its job properly, you will have limited amounts of free estrogen in your body. But, when it's stopped from doing its job, the opposite will be the case, your free estrogen levels will be much higher. It’s the insulin response that occurs when you eat refined sugar foods that causes the interference in the activity of sex hormone binding globulin. An interesting study that focused on women showed that drinking sugar laden sodas increased estrogen levels. The interesting thing was that increased estrogen levels did not occur with either diet sodas or fruit juices. Researchers believe this is due to the fact that diet sodas don’t contain refined sugar and fruit juice contains natural fruit sugars. Another estrogen related problem with sugar consumption is that, eating too much sugar leads to an increase in stored body fat. Fat cells excrete estrogen. So, the more fat cells that you have sitting around your body, the more estrogen you’ll have floating around as well. This is additional to the estrogen produced by the endocrine system. So, rather than reaching for a sweet sugar saturated treat, do your estrogen levels a favor and opt for foods that are high in proteins, fiber and healthy fats. Our fourth no go food for estrogen is beer. I know, this is a tough one. Now, I’m not saying you can’t drink it at all, but if you want to get really lean and maximize your muscle mass and strength, then you gotta’ cut back on the booze. Here’s why. As you know beer contains hops. But what are hops? Well, they're actually the female part of the hop plant. Other products such as, American Crew may also have hard Wax, not too sure about Gatsby though, just have a look and touch through all the testers. So if your skinny fat it tells us two things it doesn't only tell us that your body fat percentage is high but it also tells us that your lean body mass is low because if both your lean body mass & your body fat percentage were high then your BMI would not show up as normal, you'd be considered overweight. So as somebody that falls into this category you can't just continue focusing on burning fat because that's only going to solve half the problem & it'll do nothing to address the issue with your lean body mass. That's why your number one goal when you fall into this skinny fat category has to be to build strength. Now I know that might sound surprising, how's building strength going to help you lose that last bit of fat? Right? Well im telling you it will because by building strength you're going to be solving the bigger issue. As a natural building strength is one of the only ways & the best ways that you can stimulate protein synthesis & build more muscle while increasing your metabolic rate. Now I don't want you guys to just go full out in to bulk mode because you can wind up gaining a whole bunch of body fat & find yourself even more frustrated. I'm going to give you very specific instructions down to the very percentages of what I want you to do if you find yourself in this skinny fat predicament because I've been there before & I know it can be frustrating so I want to help you guys out. So you have two options one of them involves a lot more discomfort but if you can make it through the discomfort then I think you'll be able to fix this faster & more efficiently. The only question you have to ask yourself is are you willing to get even a little fatter before you get ripped? Now I know most of the people that clicked on this video would say no I do not want to get any fatter so I'll start there. If you're dead set on starting to work the fat off I don't want you to create a more drastic calorie deficit. I want your deficit to be right around five to ten percent from your maintenance calories. Now I know you might have heard me in numerous videos talking about going for a higher caloric deficit sometimes up to 45 percent from maintenance.............. that advice is not for you. Again the reason why you're having this problem is because of your lean body mass & you will not fix it by cutting more calories. If you don't know how to find your maintenance calories you can try my calorie calculator that i'll link up below. But once you have those maintenance numbers by only reducing a small amount of calories like ten percent you're going to continue burning a small amount of fat & you're definitely not going to gain any more fat while simultaneously giving yourself enough energy & nutrients to continue building strength which will lead you to building muscle.

You may even have developed muscles underneath, but as long as the fat is present you will never get a chance to see what it looks like. This means that your priority has to be on cleaning up your nutrition. If you refuse to eat better, no matter what else you do, you will never look better. Early on however, you don’t have to get too specific with your eating. Simply make a pass through your diet and get rid of the obvious garbage that you know is not helping your cause. Sweets, excessive alcohol, sugars, etc can all be removed and replaced with more nutritious foods. You don’t have to necessarily worry about your macros at this point but just getting rid of the junk food and liquid calories. Realizing that it will take some time to see the results of these changes however, you should start chipping away at the trouble spots in another way. For the abdomen, you want to first ensure that you can properly activate the muscles in the rectus and transverse abdominis. Most find this difficult and even when they do perform ab exercises they get frustrated at not being able to feel them. Next, you want to start adding in ab training but mostly in the form of rotational ab exercises. Instead of trying to do crunches and having the fat get in the way of the movement, you can work your abs without having to crunch. Finally, you want to incorporate moves for your entire core, such as with the 7 minute ab workout included above. When it comes to the love handles, you want to start by working the lats. Here especially, you want to focus on full contractions and range of motion to ensure proper development of the muscles that actually insert onto the top of the pelvis near your waistline. The more you can build these muscles the greater the visual differential between your waist and your shoulders and the better the v taper. Next add in direct ab work and finish up with direct oblique training for the best look as your diet gets dialed in. Finally, for the chest you want to stretch it and strengthen the muscles of the rotator cuff to posturally improve the visual appearance of your chest. From here, work the serratus anterior. This will give your chest more natural underlying support will helping to visually chisel out the area underneath. Finally, you want to make sure that as your body fat levels decrease and fat loss continues that you are working your chest in all three heads. Use the angles of the band work as an example of how to hit the upper, lower and middle chest. People have stubborn fat in all kinds of places but the most common spots are the belly the thighs the bat wings and the love handles. Even though stubborn fat is a little harder to get rid of you're going to be more than prepared to deal with all your stubborn fat after watching this video. First let me just clarify that we can't Target fat burn and no this is not one of the secrets because most people already know this. You can't choose a particular section or area of your body that you want to burn fat for and target it. So even though you might have stubborn belly fat there's no way to do certain exercises that will decrease just your belly fat. Fat loss happens across our whole body so while you're burning fat from your belly you're also give me burning fat from your toes hands your face and from your whole body. So when we're looking for a way to burn fat faster from a particular area we're really looking for a way to burn fat faster across our whole body in general. The first way that we're going to do this is by depleting our gas tank and keeping that gas tank really low. So your body has a gas tank and instead of running off of gas it runs off of glycogen. Most people think that glycogen only comes from carbs but the truth is that protein can also very easily be converted into glucose and stored away for later use. When your gas tank is full of glycogen your body will use the glycogen and spare your fat cells whenever it needs energy. Whether that be energy for going about your regular day or energy for completing your workout either way your body is going to prefer to use glucose. The only way that we're going to get access to the fat cells is after the glycogen stores have already been depleted. So if we can deplete the glycogen stores and keep them depleted we can speed up the fat loss process. So how do we deplete glycogen. Well one very simple way is by not consuming too much glycogen and again protein don't forget can be converted into glycogen so I'm not necessarily advocating a low-carb diet here because low-carb diets are not the only way to burn through your glycogen stores and start burning fat. You can do it a number of different ways but the key is to maintain a negative calorie balance in order to use all the stored glucose. You can even do a pure carb diet where you only have carbohydrates and still burn through all the glycogen just by maintaining a calorie deficit. I know this because I've done it myself before and I have a whole video about it. So first of all you can have to maintain a calorie deficit second of all you should incorporate some heavy weight training. There is no better way to burn glucose then through anaerobic training. Anaerobic training involves exercises that require you to use primarily glycogen rather than oxygen for energy. Almost all weight training as long as the weight is heavy enough will be considered anaerobic training and will help you deplete your glycogen stores faster. I recommended their minimum of 3 days a week of weight training but with 5 days a week you're going to burn through a lot more of that glucose so if your schedule allows try to do weight training more frequently. Remember once that glucose is out of the way that's when you have direct access to your fat stores that's actually why ketogenic diets work so well for fat loss, they actually switch your body's main source of fuel from glycogen over to ketones that come from fat. The second thing that you can do is fasting. This is another excellent way to decrease glucose in your body and empty out the gas tank but that's not the only reason why fasting is so good for fat loss. Insulin is your fat storage hormone. To make it really simple when your insulin levels are high it is virtually impossible to burn fat. When insulin and blood sugar levels are low glucagon is released to draw energy from your cells. So now instead of pudding glucose into your cells this will pull from your cells. Glucagon and insulin are opposites and you really only going to get one or the other. again to burn fat we want to try to keep our insulin levels low and insulin levels dont get much lower then where they'll be at when your fasting. The pont is that fasting is one of the fastest and the best ways to keep your insulin levels really low. Also when you fast usually it's a lot easier to maintain a calorie deficit throughout the day.
