Thanks for finding my video and pressing play! This is the worst flight experience I’ve had...if not ever, then certainly since I launched my channel a little over two years ago. I’m an enthusiast and by default I enjoy flying. I’m positive about travel and although I try to remain honest, I’ll always be upbeat about what I’m doing where I can. After all, nobody wants to watch some guy flying round the world telling people week in week out how much it all sucks. But today’s report is an exception, because this was undeniably a completely rubbish experience and Blue Air don’t really care in my opinion. I won’t waffle on in long paragraphs, just read this list of why it sucked: BIRMINGHAM AIRPORT: - Airport/station shuttle not working. No staff to explain why or how to get to the airport. Found my own way after giving up. No signposted route from the shuttle so it took me 30 minutes to walk trailing my bag. - Awful, awful security line. Never seen it so bad at Birmingham, a normally good airport - and an airport I would normally advocate for. No idea what the issue was. Spent £5 to go fast track. Irritating. BLUE AIR: - Check in is contracted out to a third party. Agent wasn’t sure if my bag would be through checked to Bucharest, my final destination or whether I’d need to collect and recheck in Cluj. So I wasted 30 minutes in Cluj watching all the bags come out before concluding that it was indeed through checked. - Boarding nonsense. Blue Air don’t have a monopoly on this trick, but I really really hate “boarding” and then waiting on a freezing cold/boiling hot airbridge while the aircraft actually gets ready. That’s plain inhospitable - keep us in the terminal where it is room temperature and don’t wind people up doing this! - Tired cabin with obvious lack of maintenance on an older airframe. - Inexplicably small storage net on the seat backs. - Some of the worst scratches on a window I’ve ever seen. This made filming very hard when the sun was at certain angles. This meant I’ve had to make a decision not to use significant portions of footage including the takeoff roll (which is normally a mandatory part of my videos). Sorry if you like the takeoffs; I do too, but you couldn’t see anything and the footage was totally unusable. I don’t put stuff out that’s unwatchable. - DIDN’T GET WHAT I PAID FOR - my meal wasn’t loaded. That was my dinner, and I’d paid for the meal as part of my fare. The crew did not even seem aware I was supposed to have a meal even though it’s in my booking confirmation and AVML was printed on my boarding card confirming this (for geeks: yes, AVML is Asian vegetarian meal but budget airlines use these codes to just denote “this guy’s ordered a standard meal”). - Inappropriate material in an inflight magazine which will be read by children. Very surprised to see that if I’m honest. I found it hilarious, but also recognise that stuff ought not to be in an inflight magazine... - Had a seat change without prior notification on my connecting flight, CLJ-OTP. Window to aisle. Luckily that was not a trip I planned to make a video on but I hate aisle seats and given my fare was top whack and included “preferential” seating it sucked more than usual. - Went to complain at Blue Air’s website. The complaint field on the contact form has space for just 140 characters, the same as an old style Twitter message. Yep, condense the above into 140 characters to complain. This is the worst part in my opinion. It sums up the whole experience. Maddening, illogical, and not customer friendly. I actively chastise people who turn their nose up at budget carriers but this poor experience was a shock to the system. I have lots of videos coming out, including in midweek in the run up to New Year. Make sure you have your notifications set! 🛎 Enjoy the report. _____________________________________ Do you have any ideas for future trip reports? Something you've never seen on YouTube before? When talking about how to fly cheap there are a few factors that you have to consider. One of them is where you are traveling from and where you are traveling to and how flexible are you with your departure airport and destination airport. The second thing is how flexibel are you with your date of travel. The more flexibility the easier it is to find cheap airline tickets. Another key factor to finding cheap flight is actually to find the best booking sites. But really the secret to cheap flights is combining all of those factors into one magic booking strategy. If you want to fly cheap you’ve got to be smart. So as I mentioned flexibility when booking airline tickets is one of the key factors in actually succeeding in finding the cheapest flights. That in term means finding the best booking sites means finding the most flexibel booking sites. There are some good options out there like flights.google.com or kayak.com. They let you enter 3-5 departure airports and 3-5 destination airports and you can be fairly flexible on the travel date. but for what we are looking for that is not good enough. Also many of the booking sites don’t show you all of the airfares because some of the fares are so discounted that the booking site wouldn’t get any commissions anymore. So found another secret to cheap airfare. Finding those fares that not even the booking sites have. Well I stumbled upon a website that combines all those factors into one beautiful beautiful packet . How to Do the CDL Air Brake Pre-Trip Inspection | Air Brake Smart

The air brake pre-trip inspection can either be done independently or as part of the entire vehicle pre-trip inspection. For the purposes of a CDL (Commercial Driver’s Licence) in the United States, Canada and other countries you must be knowledgeable in air brakes. The air brake course consists of both a theory or knowledge and practical portion. The knowledge component of the air brakes is complicated by the fact that the air brake courses that are being taught are 40 years old. And because these air brake courses are 40 years old, everything and the kitchen sink are part-and-parcel of these courses. In the above video, we do a stand-alone inspection of the vehicle’s air brake components. The first steps of any pre-trip inspection are to chock the wheels, release the parking brakes, and ensure that there is more than 90psi (pounds per square inch) of air pressure in the system. When releasing the parking brakes, put your foot over the brake pedal in the off chance that the wheel chocks do not hold. The air brake pre-trip can be done in different sequences and that will depend on different driving schools. For this sequence, we inspect the air tanks first, and if it is an older system, you drain the wet tank first to ensure that the one-way check valves are working. If the one-way check valves are working, you know that the dual air brake system is also working. You then inspect all the components outside the vehicle starting under the hood on the driver’s side. And using the pry bar (free-stroke) method, inspect the adjustment of the air brakes. As well, your mantra for the inspection is: “secure, not damaged, not leaking.” Approximately 75% of the components in the vehicle have either air or fluid in them, so you say that the component is not leaking. After completing the inspection outside the vehicle and determining that all components are operational, you go in the cab and inspect: 1) governor (minimum & maximum settings) 2) low-air warning 3) spring brakes apply automatically 4) compressor (build-up) 5) leak test The last test for the air brake pre-trip inspection is to apply the parking brakes, remove the wheel chocks, and then do a tug test on the parking brakes and a response test on the service brakes. The last part of any pre-trip inspection is to fill out the paperwork, which is a legal document. And the pre-trip inspection form must be filled out as part of the driver’s daily tasks. ************************** www.smartdrivetest.com www.facebook.com/smartdrivetest www.twitter.com/smartdrivetest www.instagram.com/smartdrivetest/

Phrasal Verbs for TRAVEL: "drop off", "get in", "check out"...

11:50
Want to learn some extremely common verbs for traveling? You've come to the right place. They say traveling is the school of life. It is also a great opportunity to improve your English! In this video, I will teach you common phrasal verbs that we use when talking about traveling. But first, I will explain what phrasal verbs are and show you their importance in conversational English. We will look at how to correctly use "drop off", "see off", "take off", "get in", "check in", and more. Join me, and get ready for a big trip to improve both your life and your English! TAKE THE QUIZ: http://www.engvid.com/phrasal-verbs-for-travel-drop-off-get-in-check-out/ TRANSCRIPT Hello. My name is Emma, and in today's video I'm going to talk about something I love, and that is travel. So, if you like travelling too, if you're planning on going on a vacation, or if you know somebody who's travelling, this video will be very, very helpful to you. In this video I'm going to teach you some very important verbs. They're all phrasal verbs, and I'll explain what a phrasal verb is in a moment. So, these are all verbs that we use when we're talking about travel. Okay. So, to get started, I wanted to tell you a little bit about phrasal verbs. What is a phrasal verb? One of the difficulties students have with English are verbs where you have a verb and a preposition. So, when you see a verb and a preposition together, that's a phrasal verb. Now, you might be thinking: "What's a preposition?" Good question. I'm going to give you an example. We have here four words, each of these is a phrasal verb. They all have the verb "get": "get in", "get up", "get on", "get over", and there's many more, "get away". There's tons of them. Each of these actually can have multiple meanings, too. So, one of the most difficult parts about English is learning phrasal verbs, because this, the blue part is the preposition, it can change the meaning of the verb. Okay? So, prepositions are words like: "on", "off", "up", "down", "toward", "over", "away", these types of words are prepositions. So, you'll notice with phrasal verbs, they're very, very common in conversation. They're... You can write them down, too, but in general, when people talk they often use phrasal verbs. Okay? So, they're very, very important, especially when you're talking about going on a trip with your friends or family. So let's look at some of the common phrasal verbs we use when we're talking about trips. The first verb I want to teach you: "Drop off". Okay? So: "drop" is the verb, "off" is the preposition, together: "drop off" is a phrasal verb. What does this mean: "drop off"? When you "drop someone off" it means you're taking them to a place and then you leave them there. So, for example, maybe your friend needs to go to the airport, so you drive them to the airport and you drop them off at the airport. This means you take them there and you leave them in that place. Okay? So they don't come home with you; they stay there. So, for example, I have a friend named Frank, and when Frank goes travelling: "We drop Frank off at the airport." So, we drive Frank to the airport, he has all his luggage, his suitcases, and then we say to Frank: "Goodbye, Frank, you know, have a nice trip." We drop Frank off at the airport. You can also use "drop off" in a lot of other situations. For example, when you were a child maybe your parents, your mom or your dad, or maybe your grandparents dropped you off at school. This means that they took you to school, and then once you got to school, they would say goodbye to you and they would leave. So: "drop off" means you take someone to a place, and then you leave them there. You'll also notice... So, I have here the verb and the preposition. "Frank" is a name of a person and it's in the middle of "drop" and "off". Okay? So, these two are not together. We drop somebody off at the airport. Okay? So, sometimes with phrasal verbs... For some phrasal verbs you actually separate them, and you can put the names of somebody between them; for other ones you can't do that. For this one: "drop off", you put the name between the two... Between the verb and the preposition. So, now let's look at another example of a common phrasal verb. "See off". Okay? So, again, we have "off" in both of these. "See off" is when... It's similar to "drop off", but it's a little bit different. Sometimes your family or your friends are going away for a long time, maybe they're going on a vacation or a trip, so you want to "see them off". It means you want to say goodbye to them at the airport, at the train station, maybe at their house. So, it's that goodbye you say before somebody goes off on a vacation. Okay? So, for example: "We see Frank off." Frank is going to Australia, so we go to the airport because we want to say goodbye to Frank, so: "We see Frank off" is another way to say: "We say goodbye to Frank when he goes on his trip."
English Travel Vocabulary: Planning a Trip

07:08
http://www.engvid.com Are you going to travel? Make sure you're prepared with the vocabulary you will need for your business trip or vacation. In this lesson, I'll teach you the English vocabulary you must know for travel -- from preparing your travel itinerary and making reservations, to getting your visas and boarding your flight. It is essential that you know this basic English travel vocabulary, because English is an international language. ESL students who are studying abroad will find these words very helpful. Even if you are not travelling to an English-speaking country, as a tourist, you will need to communicate with people at the airport, and at tourist attractions. Watch this lesson, take the quiz, and have a safe trip! http://www.engvid.com/english-travel-vocabulary-planning-a-trip/ TRANSCRIPT Hi. Welcome again to www.engvid.com. My name is Adam. Today, I'm talking about a very interesting topic because, for example, in Toronto right now, it's very, very cold. I'm thinking about travelling; I would love to go somewhere hot to get away from this winter. So, when I travel, I have, of course, to make travel arrangements. So here, we have a list of words, a list of things that you must think about before you go on a trip to a different country. We're going to go over each of these. We're going to start with "booking" and "reservation". Now, many people think that this is more or less the same, which it is. To book something or to reserve something means to keep a place, to keep your place. You book a flight, you book a hotel room. Generally speaking, you make a reservation at a restaurant; you make a booking with a travel agency or with a hotel, with accommodations, any type of accommodation. Speaking of, accommodations are hotel, motel, hostel, B&B, bed and breakfast; all kinds of accommodations. Make sure you have a booking before you go, so your place is safe, it's kept for you. When you arrive, it's all good. Next, when you're at your destination, the place you're going to, you might want to "rent" a car. Okay? Sorry, this is accommodation. One thing I wanted to also make sure - "accommodations", without the "s", "accommodation" means something different. Okay? "Accommodations" is where you're going to sleep. And you might want to "rent" a car. You can also "hire" a car. Means the same thing. British people generally use "hire" more, North Americans use "rent" more often. Next, you have to think about your "baggage". Suitcase, luggage, bags, anything you're carrying with you. You might have "check-in baggage". Sorry, I don't know if you can see this guy. "Check-in baggage" and "carry-on baggage". "Check-in baggage" means you give it to the airline, they put it under the plane, you pick it up at your destination. "Carry-on" means you carry on, so you carry it on your shoulder on to the plane. Okay? In your carry-on, you have to be careful, it has to be small. You can't have liquids because of security and all that stuff. So things that you can't put in your carry-on, you must put in your check-in baggage and give to the airline. Next, when you get to the airport, assuming you're flying, you will have to do a few things that concern the word "boarding". Before you board your plane, get on your plane - you will get a boarding pass that lets you pass through security and into the airport. On the boarding pass, you will see your "boarding time", this is when you get on the plane and your "boarding gate", the place in the airport where you're going to get on your plane before takeoff. Okay? We can also use this for a train. You board a train, you get a boarding pass with a boarding time, and generally a boarding platform. Okay? So "boarding", getting on your vehicle, whatever vehicle that might be. You will also generally need to get a "visa" to many countries. Now, a "visa" is something that you use to get into a country, it gives you permission to stay in that country. But be aware: many places, if you're going through another country... So, for example: I'm going to country "C" via country "B". "Via" means by way of or through. So I might need a "transit visa", means I can go there, switch planes and keep going on my journey. But I'm still in another country, I need a transit visa. Excuse me. Also, make sure you're prepared to spend money as soon as you get to your destination. If you're going to a different country, that country will but using a different "currency", type of money. In Canada, we have Canadian dollar. America has American dollar. Okay? For things like that. In Europe, you need the euro. So make sure you have some of the currency before you go, or purchase it at the airport or at the destination you're going to.

Minimalist Packing Tips & Hacks - Travel Light With Only Carry-On Luggage!

12:51
Best carry-on packing tips + Get a free audio book download & 30 day free trial from Audible at http://www.audible.com/exploringalternatives or text code, "exploringalternatives" to 500-500 if you're in the US. In this video we're tackling the confusing world of carry-on packing. What is the true size of a carry-on suitcase? What can you bring on board? How to pack like a minimalist? We even do a test-pack to show you what we'd pack on a long term trip. We are big fans of traveling light with only the essentials to carry around. Travel doesn't just end at the airport. Whatever you pack for a trip has to be hauled around in taxis, on the bus, on the train, in and out of hotels and hostels. With some careful planning, you can have a great trip with small, easy to handle luggage. A few other reasons why we love carry-on packing is because you can save money by not paying to check a bag, you don't have to wait for your luggage to unload from the plane and waste time at the carousel, and you don't have to worry about losing your luggage or having someone take it by mistake. Here are a few TSA (Travel Security Administration) websites to help you figure out what you can, and can't bring on board. It varies by airline and by country. We chose these links based on the top countries that watch our videos :) USA: https://www.tsa.gov/travel/security-screening/whatcanibring/all Canada: http://www.catsa.gc.ca/complete-item-list Europe: https://europa.eu/youreurope/citizens/travel/carry/luggage-restrictions/index_en.htm New Zealand: http://www.avsec.govt.nz/travellers/information-for-travellers/ Australia: http://travelsecure.infrastructure.gov.au/onboard/ UK: https://www.gov.uk/hand-luggage-restrictions Philippines: https://www.philippineairlines.com/TravelInformation/BeforeYouFly/BaggageInformation/RestrictedItems India: http://www.airindia.in/hand-luggage.htm If you have any tips, hacks, or tricks for packing light, please share them in the comments! TRIP REPORT | Qatar Airways A380 (ECONOMY) | London Heathrow to Doha | Empty Flight!

21:48
Detailed Trip Report of my Qatar Airways flight from London Heathrow to Doha, Qatar aboard the Airbus A380 in Economy Class. The flight was half empty to my surprise but it allowed me to get some very nice cabin shots for you. The service on this 6,5 hour long flight was great (as expected from Qatar Airways). After dinner was served I watched a movie on the ORXY Inflight Entertainment system and later on got some sleep on the 3 seats I had to myself. During the flight alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks were offered regularly by the crew. Before landing another snack was served. After a scenic arrival into Doha I was given a tour of Qatar Airways Airbus A380 Upper Deck where the First, Business Class and Lounge are located. Overall I was very content about the flight experience and would recommend you to fly them. The next flight to Bangkok aboard the Airbus A340-600 will follow in a separate video - coming soon. Flying with Tigerair? WATCH THIS FIRST! | Tigerair Australia Trip Report | Sydney to Melbourne

10:21
FLYERS BEWARE: Trip Report of my FIRST and LAST TIGERAIR AUSTRALIA flight - watch the video to learn why! This Tigerair Airbus A320 brought me from Sydney to Melbourne. It was my first visit to Australia and I had no idea what to expect from the budget airline. Quickly I learned that the flight wasn't going to be that cheap after all. Of course I could have done things differently to avoid these HORRENDOUS extra charges for my carry-on bag being to heavy. But at that point I didn't know they would even check the weight at the gate - and also of the fact that they were "counting peas"... my bag pack would have exceeded the (very low) 7 kgs limit by only 250 grams (without the 3 liters of water which I bought at the airport)... they made me pay 36,25 AUD extra at the gate! Now to the flight itself. The flight time to Melbourne would be 1 hour and 20 minutes. Since the aircraft arrived late we only boarded at our scheduled departure time. Onboard the cabin looked pretty ugly and the leg room was pretty bad. During the entire flight I could feel the knees of the person sitting behind me in my back! Ouch... The food which I pre-ordered online was okay - didn't expect anything more from a budget airline meal. After landing I got my luggage which luckily had arrived. Travel agents used to monopolize the business of airline booking and travel arrangements across the globe. Airline companies, in particular, sold tickets mostly through travel agents by a commission on each ticket sold. But the advent of the internet has allowed transport companies to sell directly to passengers, largely eliminating the need for big booking companies. To adjust to the changing times, the booking companies developed an internet presence and spread out their networks of agents, thus making it possible for home-based agents to enter the field. Now is a good time as any to find out how to become a travel agent from home. Welcome to my first experience with Southwest Airlines. I first heard of Southwest as a young man watching syndications of Airline on British TV (incidentally, we invented that show, with Easyjet starring first..). I was pretty impressed by Southwest and liked their individual style. They have free drinks and snacks and you don't have to pay for your bag, either. But one thing annoyed me - open seating. That causes anxiety among family groups who can't be sure they'll sit together, and it was clear there were a lot of dubious preboards from people who probably didn't qualify. Anyway, this was a short trip from Midway in Chicago to William P Hobby airport in Houston, and it was cheap, on time, and an interesting experience. Enjoy the report. Do you have any ideas for future trip reports? Something you've never seen on YouTube before? Why not suggest it to me in the comments? I read every single one! 👍🏻 Enjoy the video, and thanks for watching. If you subscribe, then thanks for being part of the channel! TRIP REPORT - Air France Economy Class flight to Paris on an Airbus A319

AIRLINE TRIP REPORT ►Watch more of our Airline Trip Reports here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5vnB59Zi3AI&list=PLFZOg4H3C0gGcY8HOUkh-fWwELBYuWXn2 Part 1/3 An Air France Flight Review (Trip Report) of our flight onboard an Air France Airbus A319 from Copenhagen Airport to Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris. This video covers all stages of the flight from the arrival at Copenhagen Airport (CPH) where the viewer sees the Check-in area for our Air France flight and then is given a tour of Copenhagen Airport´s departure area as we make our way through the airport to our departure gate A20. Our Air France Economy Class flight to Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris the begins boarding, and we follow the aircraft pushback process and then the taxiing out to our take-off runway and include the takeoff. Once in the air we show the viewer the Air France cabin, have a look at the Air France seats and legroom in Economy Class onboard an Air France A319, we look at the seat belts, The Air France inflight magazine, the Air France Inflight Duty Free Shopping magazine and the Air France onboard Safety Card for their Airbus A318 and Airbus A319. To our surprise on this short-haul Air France Economy Class flight to Paris, Charles de Gaulle Airport, we were all offered a complimentary Inflight Meal, actually an Inflight Snack and a complimentary Inflight Drink. We than begin our descent towards Paris through some very turbulent weather conditions and finally our Air France flight lands at Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris. The viewer then follows our long but very interesting taxi through this huge French Airport, we are even like enough to see the Air France Concorde. We hope that you will enjoy this Air France Economy Class Flight Review of our flight onboard a Airbus A319 between Copenhagen Airport and Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris. Air France is a member of the SkyTeam Alliance (Airline Alliance). OUR IMPRESSIONS OF THIS AIR FRANCE FLIGHT: - The Air France cabin crew was friendly and professional from the start to end of the flight. - The complimentary inflight snack and drink was a positive surprise for a European short haul flight. This small gesture will ensure that we would pick Air France over one that does not offer the same service if the ticket prices were similar. - The Air France Economy Class legroom (short haul flights on Airbus A319) is minimal for those of us over 6 feet tall, however it is bearable on short haul flights such as this 2 hour flight. VERDICT: Despite the long delay to disembark the plane (owing to the weather not Air France) we both agreed that this was an enjoyable short haul European flight. This was the first of three connection flights (two flights were with Air France) and all our baggage was available when we reached our destination. We would gladly fly with Air France again, and do hope that it will continue offering all passengers a complimentary beverage and snack in the future, an excellent and very appreciated customer service. Trip Report - DELHI - GOA on Air India's oldest A320

13:35
After grinding at work for months, it was that time of the year when I had a week to spend at one of my most favourite holiday destinations in India, Goa! The mouth-watering Goan fish and prawn curry were invading my dreams and successfully made me surrender! I've flown on this route multiple times, mostly with a stopover in Mumbai. This time, I needed a direct flight that would land me at the Colva shacks where my favourite Pomfret fry and Calamari Masala Fry were waiting for me. A quick fare check on the Internet made me book Air India, airfare for which was a bit on the higher side than other LCCs. AI-156 Airbus A320-231 (Double bogied) VT-ESC (23 year old) Seating: 168 seater, all economy This flight is an extension to their Moscow-Delhi Dreamliner service. This is also the reason, why the Delhi-Goa leg originates and lands at the international terminals.

TRIP REPORT- Etihad Airways B777-300 Manchester- Abu Dhabi (Economy)

17:59
On October 30th 2016 we flew with Etihad Airways from Manchester to Abu Dhabi. This was our first time flying with Etihad and here's our trip report. Arriving at Manchester's terminal 1 we headed to Etihad's check in area located in the far corner of the terminal. The check in process and queuing was very simple and straight forward with a dedicated line for online check in. Etihad's customer service desk was located opposite the check in and was very smart and modern. After check in and security we headed through to the airside terminal which had a great variety of shops and food outlets. We then began the long walk down peir charlie to stand 30. The waiting lounge was extremely busy as it was a totally full flight. After business had boarded they invited economy passengers to board however there was no system to the boarding by row number and so boarding was slightly hectic. Boarding our B777-300 we were greeted by a very friendly crew. The cabin of the 777-300 was in a 3-4-3 configuration and although the seats were clean and modern it wasn't the most spacious of cabins. Each seat had a 32 inch seat pitch and was 18 inches in width and overall i had no complains or drawbacks about the seat. After takeoff we were handed a hot towel to refresh ourselves before the meal service began. The meal itself was quite good and i particularly liked the metal cutlery. The IFE was very modern and efficient with a good selection of movies and programmes for every age and culture. Before landing we were served a small snack however this service was left too late by the crew and it all became very rushed as we started our descent. Abu Dhabi airport itself was very impressive and modern and extremely clean. Overall we had a good experience with Etihad. The flight left on time and there was no major issues. However we did feel that the crew were very slow with it taking a good while before a bar service and the snack being very rushed at the end. However we did arrive early into Abu Dhabi and the flight was very straight forward and we would fly with Etihad again in the future. Please stay tuned for the trip report from our return journey in which we travel on an a330-200. TRIP REPORT | Allegiant Air - A319 - Phoenix-Mesa (AZA) to Las Vegas (LAS) | Economy

23:06
Welcome to another trip report! On December 16, I flew Allegiant Air from Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport to Las Vegas McCarran International Airport. Allegiant Air is a low-cost airline that operates scheduled and charter flights. Allegiant has been surrounded by criticism due to their poor safety record. They have had a significantly higher number of engine failures, smoke/fumes in the cabin, hydraulic system failure, and depressurization than other similar carriers. I have been hesitant to fly them, but the $25 fare (before seat selection & priority boarding) was too good to pass up. I hope you enjoy this trip report! TRIP REPORT - Bangkok Airways Economy Class on an Airbus A319 - Koh Samui to Kuala Lumpur

AIRLINE TRIP REPORT ►Watch more of our Airline Trip Reports here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5vnB59Zi3AI&list=PLFZOg4H3C0gGcY8HOUkh-fWwELBYuWXn2 Bangkok Airways Economy Class Flight Review (Tripreport). This is a Flight Review of our flight with Bangkok Airways from Koh Samui Airport in Thailand to Kuala Lumpur Airport in Malaysia. The Flight Review covers our arrival at Koh Samui Airport, our check-in for our Bangkok Airways Flight and the Baggage Drop process. After Checking-in for our flight the viewer is given a view of the departure gate before we move to the "Bangkok Airways Courtesy Corner" (The courtesy corner is a passenger service that offers Bangkok Airways Economy Class passengers complimentary non-alcoholic hot and cold beverages and snacks at the departure gate while waiting for boarding (Bangkok Airways Business Class passengers have their own separate lounge). Onboard the aircraft, a Bangkok Airways Airbus A319 we discuss the legroom onboard, show the amenities we are given, skim through the inflight magazine and Inflight Duty Free Shopping Catalog. Following a look at the Inflight Magazine and Inflight Duty Free Catalog the Bangkok Airways Inflight Meal Service begins alongside the Inflight Drinks service. We discuss and present the Inflight meals and Inflight drinks that we have chosen. The Inflight meal is a full hot meal and the Inflight drinks service includes alcoholic drinks. The Inflight Meal and Inflight drinks are complimentary. Our descent towards Kuala Lumpur Airport begins just after we have eaten. This Bangkok Airways flight (onboard a Bangkok Airways Airbus A319) does not offer passengers Inflight Entertainment Systems. The flight is so short so it is not even needed. OUR IMPRESSIONS OF BANGKOK AIRWAYS: - The cabin crew onboard this flight were warm, friendly and professional. - For a 1 Hour and 30 Minute flight the meal and drinks service was fantastic. The quality of the meal served was better than many others we have had on longer flights (flights over 10 hours). Both alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages were complimentary which is a service we always appreciate when flying Short-haul. - The legroom in the Standard Economy Seat did not seem as much as we had on our inbound Koh Samuiflight, onboard a similar Bangkok Airways Airbus A319. - This airline offers all passengers complimentary light snacks and beverages at the airport gate. Who would not appreciate this excellent passenger service! VERDICT: We have flown multiple times with Bangkok Airways and every flight has been a positive and memorable experience. We will gladly fly with this airline again and can easily recommend flying with them to fellow travelers. We look forward to our next flight with Bangkok Airways! This Bangkok Airways Economy Class Flight Review / Tripreport is filmed at Koh Samui Airport in Thailand, onboard a Bangkok Airways Airbus A319 and at Kuala Lumpur International Airport in Malaysia. CDL Pre-Trip Inspection Demonstration on a School Bus

Pre-Trip inspection demonstrated on a school bus. This is how you should perform your pre-trip inspection on the CDL road test. This would be after you perform the light check with the examiner. This is based on chapter 11 of the CDL manual. We purposely did not go into excessive detail, as it would be disadvantageous to memorize unnecessary items. SKIP INTRO 1:40 AIR BRAKES TEST 27:27

Our flight is onboard a British Airways Airbus A319 and this Flight Review begins at Copenhagen Airport where we (Maxi and Maro) have just arrived at the airport with the Copenhagen Metro. The video then follows Maxi and Maro through the airport from Terminal 3 to Terminal 2 where the British Airways Check-in Desk is located. We do a Self Check-in on the automated Check-in machines and the drop our luggage off at the British Airways Baggage Drop Area. We then proceed upstairs to the departure area of the airport, after passing through the Security Control and Duty Free Shopping Area. Before boarding our flight we sit down for a snack and enjoy the view of the airport apron. Once we have boarded our British Airways Flight to London Heathrow Airport we present the inside of the cabin to our viewers and cover topics such as Economy Class Inflight Entertainment, Economy Class Inflight Meals, Economy Class Seats and the Onboard Lavatory. We do of course show the takeoff from Copenhagen Airport and our landing at London Heathrow Terminal 5 in the United Kingdom. The viewers also gets a view of what it is like to arrive as a passenger at London Heathrow Airport. This British Airways Economy Class Flight Review footage is filmed by Maxi and Maro (Travel Vloggers) at Copenhagen Airport, onboard a British Airways Airbus A319 and at London Heathrow Airport Terminal 5. OUR IMPRESSIONS OF THIS BRITISH AIRWAYS FLIGHT: - The cabin crew onboard this flight were friendly and professional. - Although this was a short flight, it was a pity to see that passengers are no longer offered a complimentary beverage such as water, a soft drink, tea or coffee. This is a service we always appreciate and is one of the factors we look at when choosing which airline to fly with. Many other European airlines do still offer passengers this basic service on short-haul flights. - The legroom on this flight was cramped for anybody over 6 feet tall! Despite the flight only lasting 2 Hours and 5 Minutes Maxi still felt cramped and uncomfortable (Maxi is over 6 feet tall). VERDICT: Owing to the limited legroom, the lack of a complimentary beverage and a separate charge for checked baggage, we did not see much difference between flying with this airline or one of the Low Cost Carriers, therefore in the future we will probably choose to fly to London with a Low Cost Carrier such as Norwegian. That said, British Airways does still have the advantage of flying to London Heathrow Airport.
