I just finished a wonderful shoot with Tripvid in Penang; a fantastic production company from Singapore for their upcoming travel series. It was a lot of fun and an excessive amount of delicious food! We all ate around 7 meals per day! It made us all so happy and full of energy! Everyone had an amazing time as we explored the amazing food that Penang has to offer. The footage will be available to me shortly, perhaps in March. In the meantime, I would love to share with you a little bit of the behind the scenes footage from our shoot in Penang!
I had an amazing time meeting the crew, everyone was so friendly and we shared a lot of amazing memories together. We met many owners and chefs who took us in as their own and served us some of Asia's best food!

thanks to you, I ate baosi for the first time ever. and since I'll probably never go to China, I made it at home. I also had a curry and biryani day. im trying to find peanut oil and sishuan peppers so i can make chili oil and now I just need to learn how to make hand pulled noodles. Street food at my place!
hi Trevor. I like watching your videos, to learn and listen to your cimments about all those food you ate from different countries. I didn't realize u have a lot of people in your crew. it must b expensive to produce your videos.
Really glad that you enjoyed the food here in Malaysia. I'm especially happy that you share our taste buds when it comes to durian. You are really great at food ranging and I hope you continue your food journey around the world.
this makes me happy when behind the scenes are added in main video it makes main content funny and interesting.....so try to add behind the scene in every video to make it a successful video......i think☺
Oh my...so disappointing to find all the support staff. The initial reaction to your channel was what I saw as originality as you without much planning. Knowing now all the planing takes a big chunk out of the originality air to your videos. I'll still enjoy them, but just not in the same way.
Thanks Rofid for pointing it out. As I just watched the video I didn't catch the reference in the written description regarding tripvid. No wonder I thought it odd that he would have such a complicated video crew set up. I wish he would have introduced the crew as Tripvid in the intro to the video.
So glad I came across your channel! I am originally from Penang and always seem to miss home a lot. Watching your videos really brings back a lot of memories...not to mention make me very hungry! LOL :-) Thanks and look forward to more videos.
You have a great channel going, Trevor. Your personality, your willingness to try everything, down to earth-ness, being appreciative and respectful of local culture are your winning points. I see improvements to be made in being more "professional" or nuanced in how you describe the foods. "Oily, salty, spicy, numbing, crunchy..." etc are not really enough, talk more about the textures, consistency, initial bite, aftertaste, etc. I LOVE spicy food but your affinity to them might limit your ability to fairly evaluate other style of food, namely the more southern (Chinese) style, especially Japanese food, that's much lighter on condiments but heavy on the natural flavor of things. Just a few of my observations. Your videos are very entertaining and made me miss the real Chinese food so much. Happy growing your channel, cheers!
2016 Workforce 100: Ranking the World’s Top Companies for HR.
American Express, which has made the list all three years, takes the top spot in this year’s list of top companies for HR.
To excel at everything from talent management to recruiting to benefits to diversity is not an easy task. To shine in those areas year after year is exemplary. Now in its third year, the Workforce 100 recognizes companies that excel in various areas of human resources during the course of the previous year. To determine which companies make the list, Workforce editors work with researchers from the Human Capital Media Advisory Group, the magazine’s research arm.
To find out which companies are the best for HR management, the research team created a statistical formula to shift through publicly available data on HR performance to separate the best from the rest. This year, to give employees more of a “say,” we’ve asked recruiting and job review website Glassdoor Inc. to provide data on what workers are saying about the companies that made our short list. From there, we combined that information with the public data available to create our 2016 Workforce 100 list.
American Express Inc. was the top company on this year’s list, and it has made the list all three years. Thirty-three other companies have also made all of the lists.
